I spoke with a player on the last few turns of the game and I was notified that the reason for the reload was to get me out of the game and a player left for that reload.

So I am in a Cton today and half way through the CTON I Self automate my entire Civ and leave to go have brunch. At the point of self automation I was ahead by around 150 Point. After 40-50 turns after I leave, some of the players are upset at the fact that I am not pressing enter and they come to the conclusion that I am gone. They attempt to kill me but because I have 3x the power of the second place at that point and I am the King of Automation while AFK, they cant kill me nor touch my first place victory. After awhile they decide the only way to get back there precious 0 - 20 seconds a turn with 22 turns left is to restart the game. Not only did they not wait 10 minutes for me when they did this, but there reasons for restarting is not justified. I was fully within the bounds of ladder rules to take the entire amount of time each turn. I was not lagging the game outside the normal full turn time and there would have been no difference between me doing that and actually being at the computer but not pressing enter.
Now I understand its a little messed up, don't get me wrong I fully understand that Its nice to be present when you are playing and it sucks to have a player in a game who doesn't press enter, even when the timer is on "Blazing." But what happened is not within the ladder rules and I play according to the ladder rules and I dont see any ex post facto law bullnuts in place so I deserve my reports. At the Time they restarted the game I was 200 points ahead of first place and I had 3x the power of the second place player and there were 22 turns left on the clock. It would be one thing if there was a rule saying I cant do this, but there isn't and I would appreciate it if a decision was made in regards to this matter which reflected the rules and not personal opinion.

In my defense, I only died that game because im sick with the "Super Flu" and was on enough medication to kill midget, I could barely process what was going on let alone defend an empire, I was simply playing that game in order to curtail my paranoia and to stop wigging out for taking way to much medication lol.

People People, the most important thing to remember is this: 438 - 343 + 130 - 42 under illuminatious That is less than 1000 points and might I add that at least 200 of those points come from 1v2 1v3 1v4 1v5 /2v3 2v4 2v5 and at least 150 come from test games like 1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1 on pangea duel and other strange test games. The fact of the matter is I have played this game less than everyone and there are only 3 players in this world who can occasionally take a game from me. Over the summer I played Civ 4 for 2 weeks straight to try to prove a point to myself by playing every top player in civ 4 and I made it to rank 2 from rank 1000 in less than 26 hours. I would of made it to rank 1 but Mookie had a very well equipped ren team and his time zone made it impossible for me to put together team to match his, plus he refused to play me 1v1 for a title shot, which if he had I would have made it to rank 1. Thats what matters

I have 4 spears with 10% strenght. 3 Chariots enter my land and I click on 3 of my spears not wanting to click all 4 so it could move in other direction. I attack the 10% promoted chariots with my 3 spears with promotions and all 3 spears die. In absolute shock thinking that maybe he upgraded or moved sometihng onto the chariots or something, I look at the 3 chariots and see that 2 are down below 1 point and the last one took 0 damage. """""""""""""""""""""""""""""0"""""""""""""""""""""""""""" I am litteratly laughing as loud as possible at this point and take my last spear to attak the stack and it dies to and the charior I attack has 1 strenght left.
Now I understand the fact that luck is a factor in this game, but the game engine has a serious problem and should never allow sometihng like this to happen.

I overheard some people talking about this in the lobby and I felt that this needed to not only be brought up to the board, but needed to be added in the next patch.
Currently, when two players are pounding away at the numpad to get the instant first move, it is random, I believe that there is a better solution to this problem. There should be an internal counter on a unit that adds up all of the num pad presses and compares it to other numpad presses within 1 square and which ever unit gets the most numpad presses in a given turn gets the first move the following turn. This is a way to add skill to the equation because it will force players to micro manage and analyze what needs to be attacked sooner because if they dont their opponent who thought of the attack sooner will get the first move because they deserve it.
This needs to be pushed into the next patch along with wonder overflow. If two people get a wonder at the same time, they shouldn't just give it to a random player, but to the player who has the most hammer overflow. Its ridiculous to have luck in these two instances in the game, while inserting skill, will make the game better.

In reply to: a) We are virtually the biggest MP Competition Worldwide, I’ll tell you why: We have 6 Communities who join CCL with their best players: Germany www.the-battlefield.comFrance www.civfr.comPoland www.civland.comItaly www.forum.civilizationitalia.netRussia, Ukraine: www.civ.ru ; www.civfanatics.ruCroatia www.civilizacija.netI am in shock.. I personally didnt realize that there were that many Civ 4 newbies on this planet.... But I guess its true to life in a sense. Some people get the luck of the draw and find a ladder with the best players and have an oppurtunity to realize how much of a variance there skill is with the top of the food chain and atleast have a slim probablity of becoming better, and others have bad luck and join a worse ladder and never properly mature into the right stuff nor do they realize that being the top of such a ladder doesnt really mean anything, when compared to a real ladder community ;D I guess in the end it comes down to this, I now have a few more thousand players on this earth that think they are good and that I can humilate in a 5v1........

Don't you understand that we are bitter and angry thats why we attack you Anyways, I think that the best way to go about your tournament is this. You host this tournament and whoever comes in first place will be allowed to join our ladder and we will give them a "7 day get out of being called a newb pass."

Tommy beat me to saying it You pick the best two-three non ladder players on this earth and I will challenge them to an epic 2v1 - 3v1 and we see who comes out on top... And if you think that we lose out because we are not participating in negotiation and trade as often, you put me in a room with the 7 best non ladder players with unanomous names for us all and ill trade them all out of house and home and convience them all to suicide at one another....

Id pay $5 for 100% proof that MLL was Fried for the simple reason that I have beaten MLL 3 times in a row, of the games, 1 was 1v1 which I killed her in like 15 moves and the other was a CTON which I killed her in 40 moves and made her so upset that she said that she would never play another CTON again nor would she play me in general again and she said that I am an arrogant egomaniacle not a very nice person prick dipnuts evil mortal enemy suiciding bastard son of a motherless goat X 370928238920392 ^ to the 9999th power. It was deffinitly the most amazing display of emotions I have ever seen and it deffinitly should constitute some kind of academy award or medal of somekind. There were like 6 other people in the game that could attest to this

Ray the bad boys? Its going to take a hell of a lot more than all your decent players leaving the clan and making up pseudonyms in order to get their kicks for you guys to even stand a chance of taking our place as the bad boys I get random people calling me their mortal enemy atleast 2 times a day.
