Hindu Empire
Your worthyness CTrain has made some interesting claims and accusations however I find it odd that you claim a continent when you occupy a small section of it. Your world is well known by us. Your action against our trading partner the Zulus causes us distress and we humbly ask you consider your options more closely. Although the children of Oden have no ill feelings against your Hindu people, any action against us or our allies in our mission to liberate the oppressed people of Ottoman will be viewed with newly opened eyes. In the words of a great leader that will follow from a dream I had (cough spurt and cold sweats), if you are not with us then you are against us. (damn that's clever).

(my previous post is missing for some reason however it stated a war existed between Vikings and Ottomans in support of our allies the Incans)
------- The Battle of Madrid --------------
AP. Onboard Reporters.
Today at dawn the Vikings were victorious in the first pitched battle against the Ottomans. Our frigate and theirs shot it out with the citizens of Madrid looking on. Our galleons took refuge in the safe harbour of Madrid during the battle. After several hours of fighting the enemy frigate lost their mast. All of Madrid cheered ! Viking beserkers boarded and took of what little cargo and slit the throats of the remaining sailors who hid on the lower decks like the cowards they are. The ship sunk shortly thereafter. All Hail King WarningU2 and for his wise decision to accompany all galleons with protecting Frigates.
(sound of viking horns blasting)

BRAVE WOMAN. Here is a powerful and amazing statement on Al Jazeera television. The woman is Wafa Sultan, an Arab-American psychologist from Los Angeles. I would suggest watching it ASAP because I don't know how long the link will be active. Click the link below: AL JAZEERA VIDEO

Simple. A lot of American's identify with her.
Actually I expect she will be yanked shortly - her rant is getting tiresome.

1) Sadly the US is in arrears Whiplash ... it doesn't pay it's bills. And even more sadly perhaps they're right ... the UN is largely a joke now. See here ... www.globalpolicy.org/finance/docs/index.htm2) The US have done much for the world ... just some sometimes they tend to forget that other nations exist too. 3) Too many people in the US have no knowledge of anything beyond their borders. A post high school education provides a better chance they will but even then there is no guarantee. I had a conversation with a 2nd year English major who didn't know where Australia was. The fact this has gone on so long must mean that the US ruling class wants it kept that way. How else could they ask their kids to go over and shoot people if they found out they are real people. Admittantly cynical but what else can you say. I actually had a VP at Citibank say to me once (after I spent a week working with him) ... so where is it you are from again. I explained near Toronto ... he didn't know where that was. I told him near Buffalo and he knew. Then he goes Canada eh ... huh sorry to say but I really don't know anything about Canada and like most Americans I really don't care that I don't. That pretty well summed it up. 4) The US denies global warming because to do anything else would be the end of ruling oil based combustion engine proletariat. An unfortunately as the western world slowly converts to hydrogen based economy the rest of the world (India / China / Russia) will be in their own post industrial oil revolution ... it does not look good for the planet. I'm visiting all the places that will be under sea in 20 years. After that I'll be sitting in a wheel chair slobbering over my self having had a deliberating stroke from eating too many fatty foods and living a sedentary life.... I won't give a damn. At least I'll have a good supply of artificial oxygen in the home. Cynical but true. 5) A little too artsy fartsy for me. Sounds nice but why would the average joe learn anything about some other culture when damn it I'm an American and why aren't you. 6) Ok I give ... who the hell is Jean Houston ?

Please select the video ... A Pittance of Time www.terry-kelly.com/videos.htm#Please remember on Nov 11th at the 11th hour the men and woman who gave their lives for our freedom. Lest we forget. In Flanders Fields By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918) Canadian Army IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow Between the crosses row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. The story benind the poem www.arlingtoncemetery.net/flanders.htm-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Too frequently we make light of war and killing in this game. Just for a moment remember.

Today the world learns that North Korea has done what we all feared - the development of nuclear weapons. They are now capable of firing nuclear weapons on their enemies.
Not everyone realizes that officially North Korea, US and the UN are actually in prolonged truce to a war that was declared in the 1950's.
I think we're at the brink of looking at WW III with China again backing it's Korean puppet state despite their protests of the recent test.
Some of you are likely more verse in what's going on so I would like to know what your thoughts are ?

I have met only one civer in person, well actually two ... FriedrichPsitalon and Miss Cleo.
It was a great experience. It was also humbling to realize that I never ever stood a chance beating anyone with the skills, dedication and understanding of the game like Jesse.
I have no need to meet anyone else ... because I have met the best.

If it ever was ... Israel and or the USA would counter strike. It would be WWIII. As for how this all started ... the following link is likely the best summary of the whole mess. I suggest everyone who is spouting off in this thread should read it to appreciate both sides of the issues at hand. It's been going on for a long time ... much longer then you might think. www.answers.com/topic/british-mandate-of-palestineAnyway the website is a fascinating read if you hadn't realized how long this has been an issue. Of course the joke is on the European powers now ... those Arab countries they regulated to the desert ... well them's oil in those hills. Al Habib Jedds a millionaire.

The most recent This Is True ... which I found very funny. This Is True is a collection of "true" news stories that the author here compiles and presents on a weekly basis. THIS is TRUE: 11 June 2006 www.thisistrue.com------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOT TO MENTION THEY'RE GOING BLIND: Keith Bakker, the director of the Smith & Jones Addiction Consultants clinic in Amsterdam, Holland, says he is expanding his practice to include a new addiction as difficult to break as drugs: video games. "We have kids who don't know how to communicate with people face-to-face because they've spent the last three years talking to somebody in Korea through a computer," Bakker said, adding he has seen signs of video game addiction in kids as young as 8. The in-house treatment, notes an Associated Press reporter, is "for people who can't leave their joysticks alone." (AP) ...Oh, then it's really nothing new at all.

The Iranian Ambassador to the UN had just finished giving a speech, and walked out into the lobby where he met President Bush.
They shook hands, and as they walked the Iranian said, "You know, I have just one question about what I have seen in America."
President Bush said, "Well, anything I can do to help you, I will."
The Iranian whispered "My son watches this show 'Star Trek' and in it there is Chekhov who is Russian, Scotty who is Scottish, and Sulu who is Chinese, but no Arabs or Iranians. My son is very upset and doesn't understand why there aren't any Iranians on Star Trek."
President Bush cracked his famous little grin, leaned toward the Iranian ambassador, and whispered back, "That's because it takes place in the future.

I agree with FriedrichPsitalon on this issue. The person who opened this thread was just out to incite trouble.

And this is why the ladder is great.
Honestly doing non reports I wonder if everyone is in a huge circle jerk sometimes but when I see this sort of discussion ... it makes it all worth while. Thanks for giving me hope.
