Staying silent on how Ironclad can lose to you repeatedly and not have any losses...interesting. ?! I don't know anything about this. If he reset his stats, that's his biz, not mine. k The issue is his. Though you sure liked to play against the guy, it just came over as very off this person with many losses to you and no just wins on his stats. He paid all that money just to do anything...Gold membership, simply the best choice.

We can all rest easy in our beds now, his uber loop is not so uber. You mean you were resting uneasily as a result of this brash claim? Staying silent on how Ironclad can lose to you repeatedly and not have any losses...interesting.

lol, overlapping cities, come on people, don't be ridiculous you can do better than that. its not something obvious like that lol No more hints Show us a win streak, then talk. Until then, go away. What, playing against Ironclad loads of times... Why hasn't Ironclad had those games he's reported to you against his record. It says he has 100% wins, when he's reported many a loss to you.

;D He's talking about the lower maintenance costs based on building in a ring around your capital so that cities overlap a bit. This means that you only pay number of cities maintenance cost rather than the distance maintenance cost meaning that as a financial civ you can really go wild with your cottages very early and with 6 tightly packed cities it really gives you a boost in the ancient age. For small games where land is scarce and the turn limits are below say 200 I can say this is probably a powerful though not unbeatable strategy. However I would dispute the claim that Mr. Game Theory came up with this because as you can see in this post on civfanatics dated Nov. 7, 2005 - this has been well documented. forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=138473If that is so, then why does it not apply to my little favorite Mansa? It must do with the combination of the philo and financial traits. Maybe we all do it already and Mr Game has just caught on

Yep, that's part of the connection problem - a big part. I'm happy to see those new faces, though. Educate them. To teach a dog new tricks you've got to know more than the dog

Talked with Stin about this result...
My screen showed a DeviousDevil wins and time victory thing, yet his score in the turn after where we all have a chat and a cup of tea had Stin's score higher.
We've decided to call it a draw between us, hell we got plenty of reports (or will as soon as everyone reports etc) from the rest of the punters.
Is it a bug?
