If there are many players in the ladder, that does not know about chopping, slaving , tiles value, artist (and other great P) ect.
Then i can understand that you think they ruin your teamer.
I havent noticed many of that kind of players. But i'we seen players with too few game's like myself.
It might be a point, that we should not be playing ladder, but then we are forced to play with quitters and that is no fun.
Anyway, if 25% off ladder players stinks as much as you say, i aggre they will ruin a teamer, so i guess you made me change my mind, about making "pro" games.
I might even get there one day myself, if i keep playing this game.

If a group off players like to play with each other, and not for rank or skill rating, simply for the fun off playing. Then its OK, off course.
But if they do it as a ladder game, its diffrent, then they play for rank & skill. They should in most games not exclude other ladder players, because that would be against the idear of having a ladder system.
Its like if we made a world cup in soccer, without USA & Africa Just because they do not play well, that would not be a world cup would it.

Quote "Another EDIT:: What tamijo is basiclly asking for is a seperate ladder, no one can stop him making one. But im not sure a 10 man ladder is even a ladder." unQUOTE
Have you even read my post ?
I stated : I belive it would be fun to have a World Rank (like now) but also a "Rank pr. Timezone"
So that is not another system, its not a hole new ladder ITS SIMPLY MORE INFORMATION, AND NOTHING ELSE

I belive it would be fun to have a World Rank (like now) but also a "Rank pr. Timezone" In lets say 3 Zones (US , Tokyo, Berlin) So that you "sign" to your closest timezone.
My point is that its more or less hopeless to get play against people from other timezones, outside weekend play, therefore it would be nice to see how are you dooing in your own zone, the zone with the people you play most.

I guess no-one want a "chess system", would be the fair thing, but would also take away a lot off the Fun.
Balacing out these extrems would be fine.
Will always give the looser a bad feeling, when he had the best odds. But there must be some varriation to the outcome off battle.

Ohh ya, itsnt that simple is it. hehe
I gotten this 3 times recently. I wait a game or 2, 3-5 hours, then send the friendly email. Next morning the person have reported, and i'we got an e-mail telling me, why did you send the e-mail, there is a 24 hours rule.
People do tend to read the rules with very diffrent eyes.

Hi Bantams Sorry but I cant imagine that some 10-15% of the ladder players always get a power drop excactly a the time where they would otherwise have to report.
If it should be the case - the player would have to tell the admin when they ask why he/she did not report. they might belive him/her, or not, that would be up the the admin as with any other explanation. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Im not saying every non-report should become a penalty --------------------------------------------------------------------------- My point is more like you need a system to make 99% off all reports done at once, to make things easy for everyone. Infact it should be like that allready, but we all know that is not happening.

However... My one gripe with this is that the admins really have no way of knowing that certain players might require constant prodding to report if they do report after they receive their "friendly reminder." Those players should also be penalized after a certain number in a certain period of time. I know it is more work for the admins, but I really think some players are only reporting after the reminder in the hope that they are never so prompted. I would like to know why someone wouldn't report a match within a couple hours (or immediately) following a loss. There might be times when it isn't convenient to do so, but I would have to think 3. cheaters suck I think this i right on spot Its no problem to take the ScreenShot - the trouble is that you have to wait - then email - then wait - then nonreport and if you are playing 4-5 times a day - and you get reports from yesterday - last game - the day before yesterday - last game - this mornings game - yesterday - last game ect. when you get to the point where you should check if everyone reported, you think "fuzk i dont care" havent got time to check my 25 screenshot folder against my "daily results". Conclution: the people that "forget" to report the most, will get good win %, and the people that do not hunt the non-reporters, get bad win% (im not saying this is the case with most high win%, so do not comment on that, as it would lead this off topic) My rule would be, you got 2 hour's to report, then its a nonreport and people get the proper penalty, im sure that would make the reporting work 300% better. As it is now, there is a lot of players reporting right after game, but there is also a lot of players waiting til they get the e-mail. and then there are those that continues to play, and report before they go to sleep, wich is in some ways as bad, becouse they spoil the fact that you should in 95% of all games, be able to check that everyone reported within 5 min. and then clear the Screenshot folder.
