hm, lots of arguments why shaka to strong, cats to strong, exp to strong If someone got a problem with that why always changing the game. The game is ok Maybe change your style. Dont start anc if you find shaka to boring or if you hate cats rush Or use ModMaps. Civ4 is a very flexible game. I tend to aggree with you Balmung, Civ4 is very fun, the only reason why we all play it ! But you know, we all want the best, and part off beeing a community is to push for changes, to make a great game even greater ! The hole civ3 thing is beyond me, i never liked the game, might be that i was not online at the time !

Need a setup (X) choice, to fix the diffrence between Single and Multiplayer needs.
But what excatly is it we need ?
The thing i find "bad" in multi is units with no counter, so it might be fixed by a cat counter unit (taking no coll dam.) Like (x) horsearcher take coll damage
And Fuzk Zulu they are too strong in Anc. a dobbelt mover needs a good counter (or equal) but axe will always be too slow in beginning off game where y got holes in roadnet. At least they should be without defencive protection from hill -forrest. Like (x) Zulu got defencive protection

I personally think im owed the most reports on the ladder, after Nero of course. Ive only ever filled in like 4 non-reports and even that was because those guys were fools. I totaly disaggre with that. The only way to make people respect the ladder system, is to fill those non-reports, no matter how sad that is.

No need for y to adresse a single report miss in forum cankaban. This was not ment to be an attack on anybody, and i did not mention any names. ( i think you should delete that post)
My only intention was to point out that i belive we need rules to address the fact, that more than 50% do not report. And i wanned to hear other opinions on that

Am i the only one getting very fustrated from the fact that if you win lets say 4 reports, its more or less the rule that only 2 persons report after the game. 1 report after 10-20 hours 1 report when you have made a non report.
Thre rule is very clear on this, you should report at once.
The damn thing is to keep track off screenshots from maby ten games, before everyone are forced to report
I would think a rule that you get a penalty of 1 ekstra report, if you have not reported, at the time the admin gets a non report. That would hurt the win% and skill rating off the player, and might make most players report more quickly.
But maby im the only unlucky one

The old Zen monk i met in Japan said: "Ask Bantams to post a lot less, and read a lot more. that will improve on his win% ! "
But the monk may have had too many Carlsberg's ?

"the game really seams to be a war = low points for most players in most games. Killin is fun, bring back the danger of civ!"
Why not give 200p for a warlord, that would help some !

I like the idear of attack direction, but due to the fact that roads only benefit the defender it will not work the way civ4 is atm. Would request every unit to move 2 tiles, faster units 3, 4 ect. and then you would have to dobble the map size. Only way to change direction if not moving have to be use a movepoint. Would be a revolution. But might be the right choice in many aspects. Might also allow you to work another level off citytiles due to the much bigger maps. But is too big a change to check effect off without the possibility to test.

make more out off the religion: 1 / religion should spread to other citys, regardless off war or not. 2/ every religion should give a unik bonus to the city where it was created, and the religius buildings should be unik to that specific religion. so you would be creating strats to get the "wanted" religion, not just the first possible. 3/ early religions should reflect needs from early ages, later needs from the later eras, to make it worth to spread a later religion to get a specific bonus. 4/ as more than 2-3 religions is and should still be hard to get in same city, you should be able to "forbit" a certian religion, that would make the religion dissapear in about 60% off all citys (randomly) with the price off a little anarky, and the loss off existing religius buildings from that religion.

Iron imo is pretty damn useless at the moment so perhaps some new units such as longswordsmen might be a good idea and perhaps give them a bonus V axes and scrap the chariots bonus v axe perhaps give charriots a extra movement instead and a bonus v catas well thats my suggestions more to follow well iron is important as yopu need is to make knights
