In OCC y suddently cant do every national wonder, y are restricted (2) may be a choice off will. But it spoils OCC so i hope its a BUG and will be fixed.

It seems like we won't be able to see any statistics such as power graphs in our favourite MP games unless we invest like a fortune in espionage... But is that bad ? Mayby will bring more excitement back into the came, that y are more unsure how well you (your team) is infact dooing. checking the powergraf every turn, isent that much fun, i can live without that, as long as others have to do the same. especialy if this means that you can build a spy kinda thing to walk around checkking the situation instead.

If y want to keep winning a MEDI/REN teamer on the same settings that you played 10.000 times before. or Play a CTON ANC with the same settings that y played 10.000 times before. I guessThis wont change anything much.
But if you are not only interested in winning the game, maby more interested in trying new stuff, there seems to be a lot more change in this box than in the last one.
1/ Y can make a costom made prebuild 2/ They got the new BUILD A FIRM thing. 3/ OCC with disasters on ?; maby not very fair, but who cares if its fun and its something that everyone must adabt too. 4/ Seems like they add a lot more new units and buildings than they did into warlords.
Im not saying its gonna be great, cos we only know very little, but im still very hopeful !
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- My worst fear is not the X-pack, more that the ladder players is so fixed on their winning ratio, that a lot off new stuff will be played very little, and the ladderplayers will try to fit the game into their gamestyle, rather than fit the gamestyle into the new game !

not a bad post, catas shoul be limited somehow. could be that everytime y build 1 siege unit, cost 10% more than the one before ect., so you would build 5-7 then they become too expencive.

Initiative in it self is great, but you might have expected this. Some countries are to big others too small for this, especialy with the huge amount off events. Would be more fun to ask for any team off 6-8 players NO 2 CLAN-MEMBERS ALLOWED. That would make up some fun teams tournament directors, listen to this: It is very competiative people that play in this ladder ! Have to keep that in mind no matter what event you make. They will allways try to tweak the rules into something they can win, so allways make rules VERY clear. The opposite is infact the case here, rules couldent be more unclear. To be honest, I did not expect this. I have not really been a victim of RaY bashing, which is what most of this was. Usually it is directed towards the more prominent members of RaY, such as Metallian, Speaker, Knupp, Gogf, Mookie, theWiz. I've heard talk about it, but that's my first real experience with it. As I've said, I provided ample precedences that were followed through for this NCT by other teams, before I proceeded with NATO. I'm assuming that you're saying that no clan that participates in the CCC should be able to just cut and paste their roster into the NCT. Unfortunately, you'd be disappointing the RUS clan, their line-up is exactly the same as what they had for the last CCC. They are a nation/ethnic based clan/team. A very good one, in my opinion. They haven't been very prominent, but I've been watching them for the past 3 CCCs and they are a solid clan that has interesting strategies, synergy, and they will be a contender to win the CCC if they already haven't trained themselves up to that point. So, perhaps I should take some of the blame for Team USA not being in tip top shape, however, the month of May was one where I had finished school and was in the process of a big move and I was extremely busy. That mistake won't be made again for the next NCT as I'll hopefully be able to attract some top notch American talent into Team CSA. And on the part about the rules. I'll repeat this again. I followed the PRECEDENCES of other teams for THIS NCT. There is not one action that I did before any other team did first. Let's get that straight. I will emphasize it over and over again. My agument was not directed towards the NATO team, i have no clue if the NATO team is less fair than other teams. My point is that if we need things like this (besides CCC) we need clear rules. Or we will have disputes like this. NB: I still think my idear is great, if the goal is to have events where ladder players come to play/talk with people, that is outside their Clan, or maby not even in a Clan. But im not sure that was the idear here. ?

ya my guess would be that you have to put ekstra time on cos its fast not blacing, and due to the fact that you get ekstra time with more turns and stuff. so i think more like 12-15 hours

I was thinking of creating a game like this (in a few weeks), but was wondering if anyone else would like to try games with more "space"
starts CET 9.00 sat morning - (so might be only for europe) players 5 or max. 6 (to make it playable)
Map : TERRA-HUGE (will be hard to rush, and will be A LOT off space to develop)
Quick-Fast (no elim) 400 turns, cton rules. no space vic. Scores are reported at 1000 AD, 1800 AD and finish If you are eliminated before 1000 AD you report 3 losses/each opponent, ect.
Breaks: 10 min. break every 2 hours, big break of 30 min at 17.00 if not over by then, game can stop from about 21.00 if one player wants so, to be finished sunday morning at same time,
NB.: I'we got no idear how many hours 400 turns will be, or at what "tech" players will be by then, can someone help out there im open to change.
