I wasn't around today and find that the game was down. I have no intermediate save, so 1090 AD is now up with no turns played. You're familiar with recoverysaves, where the game automatically does a save on each player's most recent login? Also, could you get the civstats uploader going again? The game has about eight hours left on this turn, as of this posting time...

I've heard about the single player auto save; but I've never been able to find where the files are. They are not in the "regular" save folder.
Did anybody miss a turn at 1090? 1100 is up now. If anybody missed the turn I can reload.

C:\Documents and Settings\ <yourloginnamehere>\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Saves\multi\auto Since I can never remember that string (I searched my posts in the CFC MP forum for "recoverysave" threads to get it this time) once I find it on each pitboss machine I send the folder to the desktop as a shortcut. And in other news, HitAnyKey is subbing for me for the next few days, as my game-playing PC has died. I don't think I (or he) missed 1090, though.

Another overnight reboot during a thunderstorm. I did find the recovery file in a different folder than igloo suggested.
Conq has 8+ hours to play to finish the turn.

I think this world is stuck in a time loop.

They were kind enough to substitute for the ladder leakers.

I had done my turn earlier yesterday and realise now that there must of be a reload. It seems that due to the reload my turn play was lost and Conquistador doublemoved on me. This resulted in a loss of 2 or 3 units that would otherwise out of reach of his units. I would therefore ask Whip to reload the current turn and Conquistador to let me play the turn first as this is the sequence we have been playing the last couple of turns.

Yes, I must also request a reload. I took two of Necrominious's cities at the start of this turn last time around, but now thanks to the reload he has double moved me and I can no longer take those cities. I believe that a reload is in order, especially with Plattfuss having problems as well.

OK, I've taken the game down. Getting late here. Tomorrow I'll dig through the autosaves and put it back up.
It may help if you two look at civstats and tell me which specific player turn should be loaded.

I am not sure about Emperor's moves but for me it would be sufficient to reload in the beginning of the current turn with Conquistador letting me play my turn before he makes his moves.

Yes, for me it would be sufficient to reload from the start of the turn that we are currently on, with Necrominious allowing me to log in first before he logs in, to retain the turn order that we have had the previous few turns.

My internet connection failed repeadly over the weekend. I've never had so much trouble with it as lately. I play a lot of real time MP and I'm known to have one of the strongest connections, normally.
btw, the dreaded network socket error came up too.
