Weaksauce, if you wanna join in the fun forget the inland sea maps and play in the Pirates games (island reni starts) or the OCC modmaps. Folks are trying out all sorts of different styles.

I'm probably gonna pick up a copy of Warlords and see how it is. But if every game this ladder plays is Ren-Inland Sea like it was before... I will be done with it in less than 2 weeks prolly. Everyone used to play ren inland sea over and over, same civs over and over... just lame. If they can win in ren inland sea vs. Tommy and then beat Tommy in 1on1 mirror ancient, then they must be good. Otherwise, ... you have to wonder if they've only mastered a small niche of the game that everyone just plays repeatedly cuz it's a fun team game for some. Hehehehehehe. Think you could be on to something here.

ROFLMAO
I'm glad that we didn't waste our time on that bullshit "tournament". Poland players allied in "ALWAYS WAR" games (they defended each other capitals instead of capturing it and killing other Poland player, attacked together etc.). Tourney director decided to replay matches, but Poland didn't agree to it and so tourney director changed his mind and there will be no replays.
It's not a champions league, it's "who cheats better" league. And tourney director bends over in front of some leagues when they don't agree to his decisions. That's what happens when a league is not popular enough - they can't even enforce game rules.

Besides, do they have any official forums or any other source of information? Their site isn't updated yet, a link to forums from an offical site leads to some passworded forum.
They need to do a lot so to make their tournament really working. "Biggest MP challenge" LOL

I guess they have one forum that is actually updated but it's a german one. Maybe i missed a word "German" in "cIV Champions League"? Hmm, no, i don't see a word "German" there.
So, i guess it's a European league. Then why there is absolutely no information on English?

"Biggest MP challenge" LOL The Forum you mean is Password protected, that's true, the players have the Password and they are all already making their dates in this forum when to play, they introduce each other and start some on-topic talking, so thats really a great thing with this forum and everyone is happy to have it... Don't worry Ellestar, I ve put very hard work in this tournament and by this weekend all the CCL Page will be totally working with all the Links and stuff, you know, we still have an international qualifications game open, this friday, then the 40th player will be qualified. After this the CCL Page will be updated and ready...we all can't wait to play !!!!! Yippieee ;D

That's what happens when a league is not popular enough - they can't even enforce game rules. Ah, Ellestar, our brilliant trash talker is back Who said there will be no Rematch??? Friday is the rematch, baby.. We also wanted straight after the game to include the same rules what you guys here have for CTON-Games...but we are not sure yet, because there are also in this rules leaks, like how can you prevent that players will talk over InstantMessenger and others can't= also not fair... For this we have our loved CCL Heads Meetings, there we discuss further rules and solve problems TOGETHER. This Meeting takes place again this saturday... We had during CCL1 also problems with rules...in the end it was all ok and this time it will be the same...of course it's a hard situation right now, but thats the point of international qualis, it was a good test base for the real tournament, we learned from it and will try to avoid further unconvinience for the tournament... I saw you posted on the russian forum, I thought there isn't a russian community, didn't you say that? Leave us alone with your arguments, please, there are many nice and good people here in C4P but you just suck...since your first post its clear you just want to harm our idea and tournament. You know, there are here in this ladder a few really smart people who will defenetely work with me together maybe to plan CCL3 and with this people I want to communicate, not with people like you who just shoot on us straight after we have a small problem with our tournament...I guess organizers of CCC know that its not easy to set a tournament like this, they understand us far better then you. P.S. Yes, we look on that what every Community wants to see in CCL (rules, options, settings), because of this we don't need 10 different games, we can put all in one or two...and thats good like this.

Friday is the rematch, baby.. Nah. 3 Poland players won because of cheating and they're going in the next round. And there is no rematch. Lies will not hide a truth from us. I saw you posted on the russian forum, I thought there isn't a russian community, didn't you say that? I said "no russian ladder". I see you already learned how to write, now please learn how to read. Leave us alone with your arguments, please, there are many nice and good people here in C4P but you just suck...since your first post its clear you just want to harm our idea and tournament. Exactly like you did in your post about Civ4players ladder. "Eye for an eye."

Ellestar, Eye on Eye Teeth on teeth…but not with me, I don’t have time to talk with someone who totally lost himself like you… To call me a liar is exactly showing your personality…more I do not have to say to this and here the proove for the truth: This Friday is the rematch, I guess I know it better since I am the organizer of this tournament…we decided all together, the russian admin the polish admin and me to rematch one game…since the rules wasn’t clarified for all the players, we chose a “salomonic decision”. There were initially 3 games, 2 polish and one Russian were qualified, the rest of polish and Russian players goes to the rematch this friday… I hope it’s the last time I have to answer on something you wrote…search your ghosts elsewhere or go to play with your barbie-dolls...

since the rules wasn’t clarified for all the players Problems I see with this tournament include: - The tournament rules are not clear.
I would post threads in the epics and non-ladder sanctioned events sections detailing absoultely every game setting and tournament rule. See? I told you to clearly define the rules before you began but does anyone listen to me? Noooooo!

Well having been an admin for many years and having had to rule on situations like that Brancius, you may not have expressly forbidden co-operation in a "always war" game, but any reasonable Civ player knows what the intent of "always war" is, and they jumped threw a loop hole instead. The last time I caught a Clan cheating in a competition I had to ban them from that competition. Your reputation as a organization completely depends on the civers knowing that the playing field is even for everyone. If you look at the C4P rules you will see that "cheating" is not limited to what we can define now, but any action that the Admin team decides was taken that knowingly violates the "spirit" of the rules as well as the letter of the law. Personally I don't think you dealt with the situation strongly enough, and your tournament has suffered because of that.

We have a Saturday night tourney and the winner of the tourney gets put down as a loser. Yep, you win it and then you get a loss recorded against you, none of your wins accounted for and no action taken to rectify it. Even better the admin who should have checked before allowing the bug/accident from Willtheconqueror to affect the result didn't even bother to apologise. Beyond that no-one coming back to me via e-mail to say what is going to be done about it if anything. I don't see how "we" can take the moral high ground on running tournies given how I was/am being treated.

There is no way to "deal with" a closed tournament. There is no way for an admin or HTD to re-open or edit a closed tournament, the Cases software simply does not allow that. After I returned I spoke with Speaker and after giving him my advice he said he would fix the win lose records of the individuals involved, this is all we can do besides learn from this experience and make sure it doesn't happen again. But then I really don't think,a software limitation is anywere near the same level as knowning breaking the spirit of a set of rules, put in place to run a competitive tournament, but that's just my opinion.
