i agree with no war in the begining, as it makes for a good war later on when industry and finance are really rolling

Ill double check my specs when I get home, but I have like 2 gb Memory, The new graphics system. I went into Best Buy, and said "Give me the Most expensive Hewett Packard you got." It is set up so I can Watch Live TV while playing Civ3. (sometimes tough when a good football game is on.) I played a lagg free open game at lunch, but it still says my system Requirements will not run this game. Ill modify this post tonight. You mean your actually going to join us?

I really dont know whats going on here, I insert the correct disk ( disk 2 the play disk, due to mislabeling) and a screen pops up with a RAR arcived file called data 3. I cant extract it and it doesnt automatically prompt me to install. I bought the special edition, could this be the problem??? Please advise. D\data3.cab the archive is in either unknown format or damaged this is the error message i get when trying to open it I just spent 60 bucks on this game and im sorry, but this is crap

I'd be happy if we could just get basic mods like UQC and UU Madness tried as staple ladder games, if people are willing now to try FFH2 then maybe we can go back and try the others. CS hehe, well CS, looks like you just discovered where I've been for the past year....... playing/ testing this mod in MP

Ya got a point there Chris. I actually like epics the best but they cant really happen every night and like you said, CTON became the norm because they are quick and easy (well sometimes heh) to get going. FFA is fun to, as for the gang ups I say bring em on ;D, it just seems like noone plays FFA so your kinda stuck w/ CTON. Like in C3C its virtually impossible to get a decent anc. game going cause everyone wants to play future.

I wasent replying to your previous message Ver. sounds like a fun game, but its rare to start in the centre of the map all the time being gangbanged where its deserved is fun. when your leading, with rank or points. but not for no apparent reason like you desbribed(being centre of map) . its fun, in a sense, but its fustrating usually(unless your centre) Ctons are just Buildfests with you going after your neighbour just because he is next to you. the person with no neighbours far in the corner. is usually the winner. everyone is so paranoid with there neighbour(s) they dont go and attack the guy in the corner running away with score. my bad, I thought u were refering specifically to me. ctons do turn out that way alot, but I usually try to get to the point leader if I can. It does depend alot on the players in the particular game also. There have been games where I have been able to sucessfully hold off both neighbors and simultaneously boat (or whatever means nescesary, usually boat, depending on map) the point leader. In that case they usually never see it coming so you may only need like 6 to 8 units(3 or 4 boats) and if your rome with iron...well maybe less . The fact that the CTON game can be so predictable can also make for the best of sneak attacks and tricky manuvers. hehe I'm now a worker
