Couldn't connect to Warning's game either but could to a couple of others so I don't think it's my end.

Also cannot connect. Given that Whiplash was able to log into the game after he got it back up, and civstats uploader is apparently working, I'm presuming the IP has changed.

I have no explanation. I got the game up last evening and played my turn (as ugly as it was). I just joined it again as a test and it was ok. My IP is the same. The load log for PitBoss looks normal. Civstats running ok too.

Still can't connect though. When we do figure out what the problem is, we'll probably need to reload the game since I don't think we'll have enough time to play 1510 AD now. (I won't for sure, since I'm off to bed.)

Could you confirm the IP for us? I made the presumption that it changed assuming that you were connecting to it via your internal network, whereas the rest of us are coming to it via it's public IP address.

I have no network, no router. I connect by entering my IP:

Can you somehow double check that IP? Maybe you can try what happens if you connect with a different IP, does it still work? (or something similar)

I will fiddle around with it when I get home from work in about 5 hours. At this point though, I'm flumaxed.

don't forget that Internet companies occasional change your IP as they make internal configuration changes to their system

may not be the problem, but it recently happened to me and I had no idea until someone told me they couldn't connect to me via my IP and I checked.

I know that; but in this case I used that IP to enter the game after checking www.whatismyip.com.

Perhaps with the Windows reload my system is not recognizing some device like the USB hub that is connected to my modem, although I am receiving e-mails.

I'll check in about 2 hours.

I cant connect either, and even more strange, looks like the system finished my turn, een though i was not in the game:

Who the heck is wasslowmoved and why / how did he change your name ? Did you not have a password on your civ?

I am still not able to log in Whip.

The OS reload had the Windows Firewall active. I just disabled this. Hopefully, this has been the bugger.

I've reloaded to the last turn with 4 players having completed the turn:whiplash, test, tam, and conq.

Others have 19 hours to play the turn.

Wasslowmoved is me, just forgot to reenter my tamijo account
so that is not the problem.
