Well, when you're in a game and someone "subbing" as a non-registered, non-checked in player is "refused" (according to subbing rules) by the opposing team captain, then what?
Watch, it will happen - subbing has rules too.
NOT following existing policy ALWAYS leads to expanded problems. It's best to deal with them "trends" before expanded problems happen.
Heck, we even have one brazen clan leader that says he logs other people into the ladder for CCC's because it's the only way he can get his "small clan" fairly involved in a CCC.
The abuse is already there with the justification that "everyone does it" - that was the excuse used by a clan when ole'fried witnissed his clan-mates TALKING about it and that clan was disqualified from an entire CCC. That single event did more to HARM the old C3P ladder than ANY OTHER thing.
It all comes down to the TD's I guess, whether they want to continue something they've always done in the past (forced reports, forced withdrawals, ensured proper players are registered and checked-in to the event they are supposed to be playing) or whether they don't want to do it.
0'MgT - nah, he'll just plead ignorance (something he really shouldn't have to do anymore, we've witnessed enough of it to expect it from him)

I'm done with this issue - there was only one admin that posted and none of the TD's.
Mark my words............
As you sit in a staging area or game delayed yet again by people who don't, won't, can't understand/follow the rules as they are written, remember then what's been posted a few times here -
"It's all for fun - it doesn't really matter"
I think I'll be quoting that many times in the future when people complain about situational rules, the appathy, and the lack of empathy.

It all comes down to the TD's I guess, whether they want to continue something they've always done in the past (forced reports, forced withdrawals, ensured proper players are registered and checked-in to the event they are supposed to be playing) or whether they don't want to do it. I disagree with part of this statement. As a TD, and former HTD, when it comes to the CCC it has never mattered who registered and then actually played that event, as long as all members involved where actually listed on the roster as of signup closing on Thur nights. So for you to say too continue the way they have always done it in the past this would actually be the way you have noticed the last 2 CCC's and not the way you say it should be. My question is why have you only payed attention to this the last 2 CCC's? Also the event you have mentioned a couple times from before involved the attempt to use a member that was not on the CCC roster and is a different subject and has nothing to do with this.

there will be a sticky thread in this section which will be looking like this CCC XLV - March 30 - April 1, 2007 or similar, where all events, dates and times will be posted. you need to reply to this thread posting your clans CCC roster before Friday, March 30 at 12:01 am and all is set. remember that all your team members need to have a ladder account to play in the tourneys and that only a maximum of 16 clans may enter on a "first come, fist serve" basis (but i hardly doubt that we break this limit anyhow). good luck and have fun at your first CCC ... and prepare for not much sleep
