CS, there's much to be said about the topic of brainless people in general. We're waiting for them to finally come to the correct conclusion that the Ladder hardly has a monopoly on stupidity.

Tommy if you're talking about the game 2 days ago I wasn't trying to teach you anything about ren. You were yelling how you hated the game and it was bs ect ect and how you hate inland sea because all you do is build gigantic stacks. All I said is if you rush it doesn't have to be a build fest.
Yes I know maybe I shouldn't have commented....hail tommy the great king of civ...he knows all.

Does repeating the same mantra over and over again constitute brainless? If so.....

Tommy's just mad cause he's not the undisputed King of Civ anymore. I do however agree with him on his top 5/6 rules of teamers. To many people break the first 3 every game. It's so frustraiting, especially when you're capt, you told your other teammate what to do, or not to do something, they do it anyways and then they or your other teammate dies because of it.
I also am in the same boat as Mookie right now. I can't take teamers with either noobs that don't listen or guys who should know better but do really dumb $hit almost every game. Everyone is entitle to a few mistakes but making same or similar ones again and again or not being a good teammate just drives me up a wall. It really isn't worth it to play a game when you're pissed at losing because 1 person "noobed it up" as Metallian likes to say.

There is a king of Civ?
If so, I elect kingzee. It's just in his name.

My email addy has the word 'king' in it. Does that count? Oh, wait. I'm already the High Holy Pope of the Ladder.

Yeah, you have spiritual authority. Temporal powers belong to kings.

[As the High Holy Pope of the Ladder as winds blows around theatrically and you hear the deafening sound of the Civ theme introducing Christianity] My son, I am the High Holy Pope of the Ladder, and I have moral...moral...moral(voice continues to echo) authority...ty...ty. I set the ultimate example of a perfect moral compass goverend by God's true light!(except when I vacation in Thailand, of course! ) I counsel fellow Ladderites all over the world on how to conduct themselves toward their fellow brothers and sisters of the Ladder. I also encourage Ladderites to be missionaries, going on religious crusades to Thailand to, among other things , convert the heathen masses to The Way that is Ladderism. Join me in prayer: All praise God, and may God save the King! (Although, I'll probably refuse the king's request to annul his marriage, thus sparking a conflict which will forever separate church and state. ) I defy any of you to find any self-righteousness in that post, so there!

Thailand...hmmmph. I was talking to my old roommate, who is in the Air Force now. One of his fellow officer buddies just came back from Thailand. It was purely a sex tour. You will never convince me to unsheath my sword there.

Toche`, Churchill! Indeed, there are sex tours to Thailand, but as a Pope, I wouldn't know anything about such immoral activity. You should be ashamed of your roomate. He goes to all the wrong places. If he went to the right places, he would never share knowledge of such places with anyone.

Played a teamer with the thecivdiva on my team. She isn't just a newb, she actively sabotaged the game. She had a large stack of war elephants and catapults in gimmebushes frontline city. He asked her to gift them to him as he could use them better and she just went crazy, ie. "OMG YOU THINK YOU KNOW MORE THAN ME!!!! LOL!!!" etc.
She then went and deleted the stack just as the enemy approached the city, causing him to lose the city.

^ OMG what a b!tch.
I played a cton with her yesterday and she was definately acting like a diva. Of course she lost a city early and quit, whining and b!tching the whole way out.
I'd like to state I was brainless for not scraping that game when I had the chance. 4 drops, lag and I'm next to Swissy who was Persia w/ horse and I'm Mali with no bronze and iron not too close.

doing things like deleting units/loosing cities on purpose is clearly against ladder rules - such guys shall be reported and game be reloaded some turn before such a nuts happened and played on with a sub.

This is almost unbelivable but true, somsone with 1000 reports, yes 1000, sees a warrior coming for 5-7 turns. This is about 20-30 turns into the game so he has 3-4 worked tiles which means he can make warrior in 1-2 turns (His city is size 3) but it gets worst ... he is back line in a teamer 17 tiles or soo from the front AND he has a warrior fortified in his city. We have 1 of there people under some serious pressure, and im confidant we will get another under pressure too in the next 10 turns, im feeling good about the game and im thinking we have a great chance of winning. Right then this single warrior kills mister 1000 report. I dont really care about whose good and whose not, but surely after soo many games you should learn not to do such silly stuff. How can some people be so slow?
