About the ironman, Is the speed setting quick or slower ? Ironman speed is quick - please note this is production speed not turn speed. SPM

So Ironman can be play with 11 players ;D CCC matches with 11-12 players are potentially a lag fest and/or a connection nightmare. Both the OCC and Ironman will be two round events to avoid this. SPM

Thank you very much SPM. I appreciate your decision. Making it 2 rounds will make it less laggy (especially for the Ironman). Considering the OCC event i think this will help to prevent messed up map scripts ... not enough food, stone or/and marble far away for a few players, etc. 6 Players on a standard map with low sea is just perfect for an OCC, so noone has to worry about playing against the wall, or being too close to the water. (Also I still dont understand why ppl are so worried about it, you wont get more then 150 points from land, so even if a player is losing one third of his land to the wall or to the water, he will only miss 50 points. you might need those points to win, but you wont get last due to it ... i dont think its that bad ... so plz no more complaining about being to close to the wall! ... am i right?) After playing a few ancient OCC i think its a good starting era. Also there will be a lot of wonder whoring ... but it leaves more opportunities, you are right.

Re: Event 8, the OCC. 1) Anc is a strange start, I agree with Audrien--no one plays this 2) Insea is a bad map for a balanced competition since your game will be determined by your neighbors' proclivities (c4f pang, c4f islands, etc. make much more sense) 3) 11 on c4f Insea small is ridiculous, the map script will break for sure 1) Ancient may be not as widespread as Classic but it's fine. There is a major concern about the religion lottery: the host gets the latest available religion (Judaism in Classic) way too often for 'pure randomness'. I would hate to see a fight over who gets to host. 2) InSea is the best map for OCC. Pangea-based scripts produce horrible starts by the sea with drowned resources, as well as unfortunate positions in the middle of several enemies. Islands? Might as well just set Always Peace - but that's a different kind of OCC with a research and production strategy different from the normal game where you have to care about defense, and offense is a viable tactic too. 3) On that we all agree.

In future CCCs, the 4v4 Ancient TBG Teamer needs to be switched to low sealevel. This will largely eliminate the coastal starts and giant lakes that can ruin this map.

Given that is how "apparently" you could beat our GOD team it seems karma is restored Lestat.
Same as with the random event, where we beat ..A.. with 2vs1 on a continent situation, only to have that reversed and me stuck on some godforsaken isle against LKT whilst my buddy held out bravely but with low points.
In an ideal world map we'd see more mirror maps scripts so it becomes more a test of ability, less a result of the land.
In the same regard, the 1vs1 should allow both players to be the same civ, indeed wouldn't that be better. Both players same civ, the player from the higher ranked clan from last CCC chosing the civ. I'd swing with that.

How was the ironman with 8 players ? Was it ok or would it be funnier with 10 players limit instead of 8 ?
And Ctons with 8 instead of 6 ?

How about changing the OCC Semi-Cton to Anonymous to go in hand with the Cton on Anonymous?

I think ironman was fine 8 players, enough lagg as it was, would be hard with 10.
Not much action, on the hub map. But that may be intended ?
