why returning to civ3 anyway - sry it was a great game while it lasted but now we have CIV4 - any need to do a CCC for civ3 - i don`t think so. looking forward to the first one with CIV4 ;D What he said. Ditto. By the way, since it's been moved back again, will we have, say, two weeks notice on what the particular events will be?

There would have been a lot of participation if we had had CCC XXIII for C3C But I guess SPM & crew are plenty busy running both leagues. As has been stated.... CIV isn't quite ready. A CCC of C3C magnitude on CIV would be unprecedented.... and I wonder how many seemingly unfair on-the-spot rulings will be made. In other words, what if a ruling is made that starts a precedent for all later games? I would rather we were all more experienced with CIV first.... Not a slight to beta testers, etc., but they can't have conceived of every possible exploit & tactic. What if the double-move was deemed illegal in C3C? What if....

Well the rules and schedule are now posted.
I think we'll be ready on Dec 9-11th for the first CIV IV CCC. I've heard both arguments: run it sooner and run it later. This is the date where I feel our Admin staff and TDs will be ready.
It always takes a little courage to effect some change. Clans have a little less than 2 weeks to be ready, or cede bragging rights to someone else.
Best, SPM
