Gonna make an estimate that about 90% or better of the lux's are on one continent. Not a single one on mine or a couple other civs.

That's kind of bizarre. It's not like they're small continents, either. Maybe you have all the oil, coal, aluminum, uranium, and rubber (do they still have rubber? that might be a civ3 flashback).

Hi all,
I'm moving tonight, flying to New Zealand via Fiji, about 17 hours of travel time.
I think I'll be able to play the next turn in time, there should be enough time to install the game on another computer and play it before the timer runs out, even after the travelling.
But if it turns out I don't make it, or run into some temporary computer issues, AND I get invaded at the same time, this is just fair warning that I will want to request either a pause, or to back up a turn, if that unlikely combination of events should occur.
Hopefully the forces massing against me aren't quite ready yet, and it won't be a problem (trust me, it looks like war is headed my way). Please try to avoid double moves, especially while real life has me distracted and my units may be left flat-footed. Thank you.

Have arrived, working on the installation now. Did miss a turn, and hopefully won't have any further issues--though this machine is below recommended specs. After all that travelling, installing the game and playing a turn at my in-laws wasn't high on the list of priorities.
Believe it or not, it's hotter in Auckland than it was in Hilo (Hawaii). Well, it is summer here. blah blah blah. ;D

Anyway, just a reminder, folks - I don't check this forum with any regularity so if you want to contact me please either use the civstats diplo or PM me at CFC.

Bah Onan, you're lucky I'm not visiting....no matter what season I go, it always seems to rain on me in Auckland. Admittedly it is usually warmer rain this time of year
