I love all aspects of the game but there is a curious point that I can't figure out. Yes, I understand that you can see inside cities clear across the globe that have the same religion as you (and I can understand the logic behind it). But, what's the rationale behind being able to see inside someone else's galley that's not even within your own civ border (or for that matter, to be able to see which/how many units at all? TOTALLY illogical to me). And of course.......... being able to see inside someone else's city, which and how many units? It plays both ways, it's good because I get to see, bad because they get to see, lol. I've tried to determine the reasoning, rationale, and logic behind it, but I'm sorry - it escapes me. MOST illogical (brb, gotta go chase two rabbits...)

The city seeing isn't that bad; if this was still like C3C it would be awful. But it doesn't matter, because if you are looking in their city, they would have seen your unit(s) a long time ago since they have cultural borders. As for the boats.... no comment

Yeah the surprise strike strategy has been severely nerfed I can see how the game shows certain units in a city, I mean in RL word of mouth travels.... but I don't see why the "enemy" has to be able to see every single unit in the city. Maybe if you have like 10 swords in the city the enemy could see 3 or perhaps have a delayed update on unit totals. But knowing the exact amount of units every turn is some damned precise spying.... way too precise. I'm completely confused why you could see inside a galley.... unless they've discovered Optics (spyglass)
