Hello! Will play 1st half Friday evening 4 pm EST/10 pm GMT, then finish it Saturday 12:00 noon EST/6pm GMT.
PW will be: killer
If you see my game in progress Saturday and wish to step in as a sub per ladder rules, and there is an AI space, feel free to pop in and we'll talk in-game.

OK, Here's the details, I am flexible:
Custom continents, (1 per team or random), 6 players (FFA or 2v2v2), TT off, all victory conditions enabled except perhaps Diplomatic. Either Epic/blazing at chieftain or Normal/blazing at Warlord. Warlord or easier setting decreases research time and decreases maintenance costs for both civics and # cities, so research advances noticeably faster. Also, barbs arrive later and your units get a bonus vs them so that can actually be a fun balance. Since you can and do get free worker/settler at these easier levels I will implement an Honor rule that if you get a free worker/settler you may not use it until 2000 BC (including no making roads/pre chopping, etc). However, wild wolves will probably eat your free workers/settlers anyway, unless you send out warriors as guards! lol. Also of note, organized civs might not have quite an advantage with warlord or chieftain setting, as maintenance costs will already be decreased across the board. I am amenable to just using noble, but I have been using warlord lately as a fun game variant. Hope to see 6 of you this Friday!

Hello again: I will probably go with Epic/Fast on noble setting. Or we can try a one-evening mini-epic format on normal/blazing with 5 victories awarded at various points during the match. We'll decide at the starting time. Hope to see you there.

Hello! We had fun playing about 61/2 hours last night. Marwin79 dominated the whole game. Elledge started weak but ended at #1 as usual. We scrapped the game after the 4th win/loss report at 1000 AD. Marwin79 and =NHL=Praetorian just signed up for ladder and are awaiting their keys so they can report. =NHL= vanished after 2000 BC, but we all agreed to have Firewood_for_hell substitute for him, so =NHL= is off the hook... he will only need to report losses for 2000 BC. Just for accuracy sake in reporting, the scores were, in order from highest down to lowest at each reporting post:
2000 BC 500 BC 500 AD 1000 AD
Marwin79 Marwin79 Marwin79 Elledge caeru71 Elledge Elledge Marwin79 Bigben34 caeru71 caeru71 caeru71 JayCivil Bigben34 Bigben34 Bigben34 Elledge Firewood Firewood Firewood =NHL= JayCivil JayCivil JayCivil
Not a very pretty table, columns aren't lined up, but you can figure out who won each round and ensure reporting is accurate.
