Don't you know that everything a wingnut says is a fact, even if it's wrong? lol, typical liberal. Why don't you point out the inacuracys levi rather then callin people "wingnuts". This is why we are here in the first place. To discus the facts and the issues of the day.

The inaccuracies should be self evident but since you insist...
Someone posted something allegedly from someone that claims to be Canadian, who does not like the Canadian health care system. First off, its hearsay; that is to say, it cannot be taken as fact simply because someone claims to have said it. Second, it is one persons opinion and may not necessarily represent the opinion of a majority of Canadians.
It seems wingnuts like to take opinions and call them facts. I think its from watching to much Rush Limbaugh, the king of opinion/facts.

Skipping the first line, the rambling redundant one, to where you mention hearsay. The post I made was presented in exactly that light, nothing to hide, no trickery not claim of fact- not once. Draw your own conclusions, for those that are not set in preconceived notions that is of course. The main reason I reposted that info was because I have heard it so many times, just not all together in one spot. Repetition does not make something true either, regardless how hard you try, Levi. Yet I will follow closely something that I see recurring. One thing I see recurring is Levi chastising someone or action and subsequently doing precisely the same: got blinders? After we get past the expected (recurring theme) personal attack(s) symbolic of closed minded liberals we can clearly see where the preacher does not read his own script. "It seems wingnuts like to take opinions and call them facts. I think its from watching to much Rush Limbaugh, the king of opinion/facts" This, continues the gospel according to Levi, previously by one paragraph we read the scripture: "First off, its hearsay; that is to say, it cannot be taken as fact simply because someone claims to have said it. Second, it is one persons opinion and may not necessarily represent the opinion of a majority ..." Typical Liberal, Hillary is a good example. Always wanting to appease everyone all the time, take every side on each issue; second nature. So which is it, we can only take things that you have said as fact? So 'wingnuts' take opinions and call them facts(amazingly you just did so in the same sentence you criticize others for doing such deeds) because you say so? Hmm, I think I'll go watch Rush on the radio some more....HUH? ? ...the king of opinion/fact- again, because you say so,[glow=red,2,300] YET[/glow] only moments before we were notified that: "First off, its hearsay; that is to say, it cannot be taken as fact simply because someone claims to have said it"

Actually Levi, most of what DrShot posted about the Canadian Health Care System is (unfortunately) true. We have no where near enough Doctors here to help those that really need the help. Most of our good doctors have moved elsewhere due to the fact that they are not paid as much here as they are in other country's. A perfect example of that is my own family. My Uncle move to Alabama for just that reason. The medical professionals here in Canada are hounded by Americans even before they graduate, with offers of free housing and more pay and other benifits they would never see here in Canada. As to the waiting lines he has refered to again he is correct. I have cancer and it was caught soon enough that a simple operation could have been all that was needed to eliminate it. That was 5 months ago and it continues to grow as I have not even seen the specialist yet (Nov 27) and by the time they actually decide to operate it may be pointless. I have no family doctor as mine retired 4 years ago. So my only resort is to go to the Medical Clinic and hope for the best. In the mean time I must put up with the pain and go to work each day with a slim hope they may catch it in time. Thank god I did not pin my hopes on our great retirement insurance we have here or I would have to worry more about what might happen to my family if I don't make it. So the grass aint always greener on the other side just look a little harder and you'll find that out.

I hadn't realized that.
I'm sorry that capitalism may cost you your life.
Let's all hope that the doctors can save you...
...
...I hadn't thought that our corrupted healthcare would affect your country... But it appears it's worse than I thought.
...
TGS, DrShot, this is what's wrong with our healthcare.
I just didn't know how bad it was.
But thank you for sharing that, DD. It has put the situation into perspective for me and hopefully lots of other people here.

This is an example of how economic systems reflect human nature. The free enterprise system suits high achievers because of the rewards available. Socialism is attractive to lackers because there is no incentive for high achievement.

(Yep, thanks for ur incite DD) I get that capitalism could cost him his life because doctors are moving here for better pay and benefits. And that's what capitalism is about, trying to make more money. "I just didn't know how bad it was." - Well I said this because I hadn't realized we were affecting other countries as well as our own. And since you're calling me uninformed, I would assume you did know. I don't think you care though, because you said I was wrong. Apperently, it's okay with you if people die because they can't afford to pay, or in this case there aren't enough doctors.

Socialism is attractive to lackers because there is no incentive for high achievement. Sadly... this is true for a lot of people. If people actually became doctors to help sick people, or became lawyers to help innocent people, etc. Instead of just doing it to make money, then I think we'd be better off as a society.

(moving? to america I bet. How can the american system be so bad when it attracts all the good docters from around the world)

(lol, so what ur saying is, communism don't work because of capitolism? u sound like Stalin. One of your heros I bet)
I don't think you care though, because you said I was wrong. Apperently, it's okay with you if people die because they can't afford to pay, or in this case there aren't enough doctors.
(anyone who goes to a hospitol in america, it is the law that they get treated. So people aren't just up and dieing. Bottom line is that people like you want to take the greatest healthcare system the world has ever known, and turn it into a crap system thats tryed all over with the same crap resaults)
You should just come out and say ur a full on commie. After healthcare, you'll think of some other thing else that everyone should be "entitled" to. Its a cycle that ends with the colaps of the system. As less people pay, and more people jump of the free loader train, the system goes down fast.

(lol, u should sign up for med school then ob. Go pay for all that schoolin for 8 years just to come out to help ungrateful people. If I was a doctor, Ide go to wherever the people offered me the most. I wouldn't stay where people felt "entitled" to my services. Also, as someone thats served the public for many years, I can safely say that the rudest people are the ones who feel they are "entitled" to everything. They walk around talking all loud about how expence stuff is. Then they want me to ring up thier beer sperate so they can pay with food stamps. Commie-ism at work)

...So you're saying if you were a doctor and had a choice of who to help-
---People with Aids, Malaria, Cancer, Diabetes, Tuberculosis, etc. in places that don't have the "greatest healthcare ever"
---80 year olds with heart problems and such here in the U.S. (I won't go into detail)
You would help the old people because you get paid more.
That's great, TGS.
BTW, I'm not saying we shouldn't opperate on old people, I'm just saying other things should take priority over that.
"How can the American System be so bad when it attracts all the good doctors from around the world?"
Because those doctors aren't helping those less fortunate in other countries.
"Communism doesn't work because of capitalism?"
Well, I hadn't thought of this until now, but yes. I guess so. DD's story illustrates that perfectly.

That's great, TGS.
(yup)

(typical liberal. you give people priority baced on ur own judgement. Libs will do things llike moving black/hispanics to the front of the line. They'll start using the healthcare system to punish people. like fat people.)

I didn't think people could be as delusional as you are. You think Rich White Americans are better than everyone else. "Cause helping the poor is what med students should be doing." "Libs will do things like move blacks and Hispanics to the front line. They'll start using the healthcare system to punish people." "It's not the best because we don't share with the crappy nations." LOL that's some funny stuff. I don't even want to talk with a racist, nationalist, plutocrat like you. The funny thing is, most people would ridicule you for saying stuff like that. But DrShot and Whiplash will stand beside you. How, I'm not sure, but I can't wait to find out. As far as people dying because of me... I won't even go into that. It's too ridiculous. It's exactly the opposite of what I'm trying to do.

You think Rich White Americans are better than everyone else.
(never said that. i don't care what race people are.)
"Cause helping the poor is what med students should be doing."
(they should, those lazy bastards)
"Libs will do things like move blacks and Hispanics to the front line. They'll start using the healthcare system to punish people."
(libs judge people by race. so to get votes, they make race based programs)
"It's not the best because we don't share with the crappy nations."
(thats gold there, you got SMACKED. ur trying to tell us all how great canadas healthcare is, then u say all the good docters come to america to work. then u say, because america pays docters more, that somehow wrecks the commie system u like.)
LOL that's some funny stuff.
(it takes an eliment of truth for it to be funny)
I don't even want to talk with a racist, nationalist, plutocrat like you.
(cause u get whooped. u come in here trying to tell us all how dumb we are. but u can't counter our arguemnts)
The funny thing is, most people would ridicule you for saying stuff like that. But DrShot and Whiplash will stand beside you. How, I'm not sure, but I can't wait to find out.
(some people are a step above the rest)
As far as people dying because of me... I won't even go into that. It's too ridiculous. It's exactly the opposite of what I'm trying to do.
