It's a little "busy" to be used for an avatar. That small size just kinda reduces it to a blob.

I'm using it at the moment on another forum and it looks quite nice. I'll try it here though you could be right.
This is entitled Taliesin who was in fact the Merlin or head druid of King Arthur, although people seem to mix up the title and the name for some reason.
The characters in the picture are I think:- The Dagda(The big Cheese of the Sidhe, god of the fields/agriculture and no1 guy not to piss off) and Herne the hunter(guess what he represents); the fawn I presume is also the Dagda, who liked to test mortals by appearing as a fawn and then getting stuck in thorn bushes or something to see what they would do. The blue figure I'm assuming is Taliesin attempting a spell to contact the Sidhe? Though I'm not sure, I'm certainly no expert on Celtic folk lore. It's a fascinating mythology, because the Sidhe take human form you might think that they we're progenitors of humans, but they are more like a sort of Alien race that predates humanity. A pantheon very much reflecting the time in which it was created, their Gods were hard but just and that's just the nice ones.
Doesn't look too bad actually. Well there you go.
