Sorry if this sounds rude, and I hope all those folks make out alright, but we have 2 new catastrophies to think about. The earthquake in Pakistan, and the mudslides in Guatemala. Those of our many nations posted many thoughts and condolences about Katrina, but have seen no posts about either of these tragedies on either board. I will find myself in one of these nations soon doing some humanitarian aid, and it would be nice to know some one cares about other nations.

No Random, that's not rude AT ALL! These disasters in the past few months have been horrendous.
These pics were just from the first time he (Dennis) had been able to get back down to his home area. Dennis feels blessed that he only suffered property loss.
He and his submarine veterans group "USS Tullabee" and the submarine veterans group I'm a member of here in Arkansas, "USS Razorback," are EXTREMELY active in fund-raising efforts for ALL the recent disasters (and trying to budget for new ones).
As retired sailors in fraternal organizations and we don't recognize international boundaries when we assist.
