NOTE: Players are expected to be in the lobby 15 minutes BEFORE the match starts to handle all registration issues so the events can start promptly. If no one from a clan has registered by the scheduled start time of the tourney, or contacted the TD, the TD will assume that the clan isn't entering that event, and the event will begin as soon as all registered clans have all their players checked-in and available. There is a maximum grace period of 10 minutes for all events and then the TD will close registration. Incomplete teams will be dropped from that event. (this will be strictly enforced by all TD/HTD/Admins)
TDs have a full load during the sign up and launch of the events. The duty of the players is to be sure to notify a TD or the event TD that they have problems.
Today I asked in the lobby two times at the proposed launch time if anyone was having problems.. There was no reply from anyone about it IN the lobby or in c4f. I held the launching while watching the lobby communication. We launched at 7 mins after the designated period while I waited for anyone to contact me.
The TD's have no crystal balls to know what problems you have. It is not fair to those who bothered to show up on time to make them wait for a few to wander in. Please be prompt, please contact the TD ... or if they are busy contact another TD who will relay your problem to the event's TD.
It is unfortunate, but it is also necessary for the players to communicate clearly and in time so everyone knows what is going on.
Sincerely,
Nolan HTD
