IC: That's not the point. That can happen anyway, but all three civs on one continent can defend the one boated person due to railroads, but the three on seperate islands can't. The problem is the three seperate can't defend, and so have been screwed over by the map generator. No Thanks, I'd rather play a fair game. Vencelas: The fact is if your team can build nukes and you're opponent can't then you've won because you can nuke them back into the stoneage and they can't stop you. They can't even build SDI. Buy some nukes, throw them at their front cities and kill them. Job done. No thought involved .

A) Standard TBG, Low Sea, Cylindrical Wrap On B) 3v3 C) 65 Turns, Medium Timer D) No Germany, No Nukes, No Commandos E) No Spys
A) The reason Fractal is a bad map, and by bad I mean 100% unfair, is because quite often one team are placed on seperate islands and the other team on one super continent. Giving one team teh majoprity of the land and being able to freely support eachother in the event of an invasion would make the event a coin toss.
Hub also has a few balance issues; if the front players oil is on the water towards their opponents it is quite easy for them to lose that oil as their opponents will sit on it with their battleships. That really screws up the team without that source of oil because one player can't build tanks etc until the back players have cleared that tile and have started to protect it, and that takes more than enough time for the front player to be killed by a tank rush.
B) Ideally this could be played as a 5v5 on a large TBG map, but the Reason 3v3 is suggested is because of lag.
C) About right.
D) No Germans are because of the uber panzers, so :b: No Nukes is because the first team to nukes wins, because the nuked party can't clean up the pollution. No Commandos has been explained above.
E) Probably for the best.

It would be fairer if there was a 3rd/4th playoff to decide the points than for the team which got a bye to just be penalized.

A) Mirror B) Ancient -- TBG (TvB) Classical -- TBG (TvB) Medieval -- Inland Sea Renaissance -- Inland Sea Industrial -- Ring Modern -- TBG (TvB) Future -- Inland Sea C) Ring D) OCC should be only 1 event, a teamer, 2v2, on HB_TBG, rotating era every CCC from Ancient through Renaissance starts. E) All teamers are battles between teams. That's kind of the defination of team events...
And as for fractal; having 3 members of one team start on a mega continent while the 3 members of the other team start of nutsty little rocks with no water on them isn;t fun, and pretty goddamn unbalanced.

As Mookie has said, don't knock it until you've tried it. 5v5 is fun for just a normal game but wouldn't work in CCC due to lag.

Problems with Tilted axis are that one team can get about a quarter of the land on the map; the other team can get the rest. Same applies to resources.
In the last CCC I had enough space for 2 cities...all coastal. Speaker had enough land for 3 and so did Mookie, and we had aggressive MI on Speaker on turn 2...atleast on inland sea no one will get screwed over in land, or resources. Boating still works, as does rushing, though each team will have room to expand into. If you want to make it really interesting play it with X wrapping.

Put Future on a different map this time...Inland Sea or TBG Left versus Right, not hub for something like the 4th time on a row.

Future ought to be 3v3 or 4v4, on either Inland Sea or TBG Left verus Right...

Frankly Longhorn I don't care about your aims to "balance" ren teamers. Post whatever you want. I doubt it will ever make it into a patch.
Yet you attack RaY because we play games that you don't like? So don't play in them. I'm pretty sure everyone would be happy if you just left.
And as for double logins...Frankly I wouldn't mind if every double login ever used in a ladder game was shot down in flames. Go on, shoot them all down. And I'll see you in a few months...
And just so you know;
CCC XXV - January 20-22 - Inactive due to January modules. CCC XXVII - March10-12 - Inactive from Civ due to illness (oO it wasn't flu, yes, I was in and out of hospital due to this, and no, I won;t go into it any further) CCC XXIX - April 21-23 - In London for Birthday, no PC no Civ CCC XXXI - June 2-4 - Inactive due to exams (Summer modules) CCC XXXIII - July 14-16 - In America for a month, no computer, no civ CCC XXXV - Aug 25-27 out due to technicality (Simply didn't know about rejoining rule.) CCC XXXVII - Oct 6-8 - At Uni without access to GS CCC XXXIX - Nov 17-19 - At Uni without access to GS

LOL, Longhorn.
You remember when Illuminati disintergrated? You remember speaking to me over the buddy list in the Civ4 lobby, the one that you claim I ain't your buddy on?
You remember what you said?
"Atleast you aren't going to those slows in RaY like Gogf and Speaker" - Longhorn.
I'm suprised someone as biased as you is allowed to be a ladder admin. It doesn't set a good example to other people when someone as you is such a biased prick.

Longhorn,
You were a thingy in Illuminati. You're a thingy now. f**k off and go play an era you enjoy, on settings you enjoy, and we'll stick to playing the eras we like to play.
If you see us in a game and decide you don;t want to play with us, so be it, cos I definately do the same thing when I see you in a game.
BTW, you learnt how to stop n00bing it up yet?
