Those of you who played Civilization 3: Conquests will remember this highly popular Mod originally conceived of by Motown Dennis. Well, it's back, and updated for Civilization 4!
The base concept behind the mod is quite simple: NO civilization starts with ANY Unique Unit. All civilizations have access to all Unique Units, however, based on what resources they have acccess to. Everyone can build all the Vanilla units - and, with the right combination of resources, anything else you may require!
Below is a list of changes made: three units were changed slightly to improve their utility value in the MP format. These units were: The Jaguar, the Phalanx, and the Keshik. (The Cossack, bearer of much dislike, was NOT changed in this format, because of the resource combination required and the fact that anyone can build them... as well as Redcoats!)
This scenario may be used with any game speed, any map, and any era.
TO USE A MODIFIED SCENARIO You must unzip the contents of this ZIP file DIRECTLY to your /Civilization 4/Mods folder. That's it! Put the UU Madness folder in there and enjoy!
To activate the mod, from the main menu, click ADVANCED, then "LOAD A MOD." Select "UU Madness" and it will ask you to restart. Do so, and you will notice "UU Madness" in the upper right corner when you get back to the main menu. You will only see UU Madness games in the lobby, and no one can join your game who does not have the mod loaded. (No need to password to avoid the masses!)[/b]
