suddenly timer in every game i m in runs very slow - it s not like lag - units move decent fast but 1 sec is 5 sec in realtime.
1-1 s are ok but as more players as bigger the problem gets. I had this problem 2 month ago allready - it came justz like that and dont think i did an<ythink to solve that problem 2 month ago - think it just got better.
i got athlon 2500 redeon 9800 pro graphik card 1 gb ram and dsl 2000 connection.
some idea where the problem could be??? I dont think i changed anythink - the problem just came outa nothing.
CS maybe??

How is your average ping in games? sounds like a ISP-network issue.

Press clt alt del, and check the task manager for any programs that are taking alot of CPU cycles or memory, you can also close any and all programs you don't need running.
Also do you run a anti-spyware remover? D/L Spybot Search and destroy and Adware SE and run them both to get rid of any spyware that may be slowing your system down.

Try the tests at www.dslreports.com since you probably play alot with NA players try running speed tests and ping tests with the servers in NA and see how you do, you can also compare the speed tests with what your ISP is suppose to be giving you. CS

dslreports.com speed test result on 2006-07-10 14:03:24 EST: 1019 / 135 Your download speed : 1019 kbps or 127.4 KB/sec. That is 39.2% worse than an average user on t-dialin.net
Your upload speed : 135 kbps or 16.8 KB/sec. That is 50.3% worse than an average user on t-dialin.net
that should not be too bad to play a civgame with 6 players?
