Mysteriously, my CIV dvd stopped loading, and comes up "No disc detected". There doesn't seem to be any serious scratches on it, so I'm at a loss. I managed to fix it easily, since its installed on my computer. If anyone else runs into this PM me in forums. I found a "mock" dvd image of civ4, doesn't have the game itself, just the parameters. So after a few hours of cussing at the black list proggy I'm back in business. Wonder if Take 2 would allow me to exchange my disc I do plan to reformat soon but dont dare if I cant reinstall CIV

If not you could always ask a guy at the local video store if he would be willing to use their resurfacing machine on your dvd they will usualy do it if you offer em a few bucks That or you could buy a skip doctor resurfacer at best buy ,but imho they are not as good as those commercial ones that the video rental stores use they resurface those rental dvd's quite often and a DVD is a DVD.
