After struggling on my PC (slow) I have installed civ on my (better spec) laptop but now can't even get into the lobby. I just get login attempt has failed, I wasn't in gs at the time. I tried the putting my details in again and restarting...any more ticks that may do it?

don't use your GS premium account. Don't use the same email as your premium account when tring to make a new one.

Gamespy on C3c would stop nortons antivirus measures from working properly so that it could pop up all those annoying ads. It also would stifle any attempts to download the file I needed to run the program that would stop it from doing this. 60 pound bit of software in the toilet(thanks game spy ) I think gamespy doesn't like it because it blocks all the monitoring software it uses. Bit sad really.
