There is a new driver for the series 4 cards. It's date is October 20, 2005. The fact that this driver predates the CIV release date by only 4 suggests it's just the ticket to run the game. www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_81.85.htmlBe sure to delete the old driver. Click on "Driver Installation Hints" for instructions.

Nvidea recommends that you uninstall, so I would do that. It can't hurt.

they say uninstalling the driver is a requirement for this upgrade.
additionally, you have to turn off all anti-virus programs before installing this 20something meg file.
if you don't, it will download, but not install.
as whiplash posted, at the download site, click on the "Driver Installation Hints" for instructions.

Driver Installation Hints
"Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.
Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.
Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.
Here is the instructions from the nvidia site on the way they recommend to install the drivers. I might add that I have a nvidia card and do it this way everytime I update my drivers.
