Never use 'q' to mark city sites

Yesterday I had a game where SpikeCableGuy retired twice.
Actually two games... the first game Spike retired, went OOS when he rejoined, and after 20 minuted of trying to reload, it was scrapped.
So we had another game with good old Spike, and he retires again. This time he gets back in ok... then drops again OTL. The 3rd drop is because his cat is messing with the LAN cables. He gets back in, and finally a 4th drop... eventually that game was scrapped also. So that was my bad day.
It really was, considering the next game I had (without Spike, the title was Ladder Teamer no Spike), I moved my cap to plain hill, and found that I had no resources-_- We get bronze working, and there is no copper. We get animal and there is no horse OMG. (At this time GodakaWar is consoling me I am bound to have uranium ) I thought it would really be memorable if I had no iron, but I did have that. (has anyone ever had cap with no resource?) Then I get killed by two warriors while doing henge - my fault ofcourse, and sorry to my team for that

Well anyway, what I wanted to say was 'NEVER USE 'Q' TO MARK CITY SITES' as in, Spike was marking with q - and he clicks alt-q by accident. (wrong click of alt - s and q) I mean, have you ever seen 'XXX has retired' in the middle of a ladder game?!! Sorry for sounding too discriminative to Spike, but plz change your city mark. 'c' or 'x' is fine

Btw, what are the chances of a single warrior fully fortified on hill cap defending against 2? It should have 95% defense.. just curious.

so when you play withi spike, just establish the "2 drop rule" at the beginning of the game.

Well i was in second game, even if we scraped it we laught a lot with aka, tigrage and other, was funny in a sense

whats really funny about this thread is the fact tigrage joined the forums in feb 2006 and this is his 1st post well done I congratulate you for lasting so long without saying anything in here

ya it definately seems like our old friend the retire bug is back in full force, I was in game a couple days ago, anc occ, one player really didn't like his land so he tried chariot rush on another, when his chariots got kille he said gg and retired, at which point the game froze and even a reload would not work. Please kids, exit to main menu or desktop and leave the retiring to senior citizens.
