"the game really seams to be a war = low points for most players in most games. Killin is fun, bring back the danger of civ!"
Why not give 200p for a warlord, that would help some !

I think you should get the hammers from a forrest when you plant on it. I don't know if this would make for unbalanced starts in anc or not, but I hate losing that forrest.

way to boot players in game?
way to hide typed text in game/mute players?
up the strikes in first strikes so FS1 and 2 are viable alternatives to combat 1/2 odds wise?
a way to combine units into super units (like three immortals makes a formation of immortals which has twice power of original? five makes a squadron with 3x power?)
something like a reduced settler which makes "settlements" rather than cities and doesn't have expanding culture and can't make buildings?
give an extra move to units that retreat?
way to let anyone on buddy list join games hosted by you rather than have a pw on games?
a way to abandon cities? (to barbs?)
some way to change leaders in game (maybe limited to those of same civ) (maybe three turns of anarchy or something?)
enhanced spies? stealing tech? earlier "spies"? (diplomats?)
make cultural victory viable in occ (one city enough for win) and multiplayer games (to make multiplayer games more "civilized")? maybe factor tech/happiness/healthiness into cultural victory or culture generation generally?
allow leader to make "promises" to his people with maybe happy or golden age type benefits if promise fulfilled, and the opposite or anarchy if not (to simulate political aspects of civilization)?

most posts in here are thinking of lil changes which should (at least soem of em proly be in a patch)
when thinking about civ5 u should have in mind that it ll be (if it ll beĀ“) a totally different game.
there ll be some totally new features (as colonies in civ3 or this same attack and def in civ4) so maybe think about totally new stuff
what I m really looking forward to is a improved ai which can give u a challenge without cheating - firaxis should really have a look onto what top players are doing and try to teach ai to do same.
