I was just in a 6 player FFA (was a balst btw!) and the #4th player did not report to us 3 that finished above him. I tried to use the "Unreported Match" feature but all I got was an error. If I could get help on this matter it would be greatly appreciated

Give them 24 hrs and if no report email them about it politely. If still no report 24 hrs after that email one of the admins about it. If possible include the final save with your email to the admin and it probably wouldn't hurt to have the other 2 players also send the player a polite reminder.

Pond - the above advice is quite good, if the emphasis on POLITELY is recognized. Also, if you continue getting errors from the Unreported Match feature (but try it again, 'cause you shouldn't) email one of the admins privately and again politely explain why you're skipping the usual means, and let us know about the failed report that way.

If you have the option to enble private headers please do so, if not just temporarily disable your firewall when using Cases. CS

CS I'm working on removing those pesky things, but will take me some time until we are free from them.

Oh and people just so you know. We Administrators expect to get ALOT of non-reports to sort through in the next few months therefore please be forewarned we will be expecting screen-shots to prove the games happened. Example 1-Screen shot showing names of all participants in the game. Make sure the ladder name matches the name in setup room BEFORE you launch game. 2-report outcome of the game. 3-we may ask you (if non-report is disputed) to get another player involved in the game to vouch for the outcome. I know. It's a game and it sounds like alot of hassle to go through to play...but once you get used to doing it it takes 5 seconds. You take screen-shot, save it in a folder, name it with date and title.(IE-8man FFA Oct.31st) This way if you don't get a report within 24 hours, you can easily email the player concerned, attach screen-shot and ask for your report. If you still don't get report within another 24hours. Then file a non-report and be ready to send screen-shot to the administrator who asks for it. This ladder community promises to be HUGE ;D ;D ;D And we as administrators take turns volunteering to handle the non-reports. If I get 30 in a day, I expect screen-shots. I wont be emailing all 8 people in the game to find out exactly what happened. Much too time consuming as we clearly expect to put in 2-3 hours daily if all is done right. We have no desire to do 10 hours a day. We can promise you this though. TAKE the screen-shots and file non-reports. That is your part. We will look at all evidence and the ones who don't get into the habit of reporting will find themselves sanctioned and will lose the privilege of playing amongst the best CIV community in the World So pass the word around ::::Screen-shots, Screen-shots, Screen-shots:::: not just the host but everyone involved. You want your non-reports which you deserve? Then simply give us a leg to stand on. :::PEACE::: Thread continued here Non-Reports please read

I have a guy who "disconnected" about an hour ago and he hasn't come back on and he hasn't reported. I had 8 cities with double upgraded Elephants with catapults, skirmishers, and axemen all in a stack about to hit his capital when he "disconnected." How long do I have to wait for him to come back? Oh, and I have saves of the game.

Oh, and I have saves of the game. Yes 10 minutes is return to reload limit. I realize however that this is a new game and it might be a bit confusing at first...so a few minutes extra might be in order. Then if the player does not return you politely email them, send save/screen-shot and ask for your report. If you still don't get report within 24 hours file non report and send screen-save to admin for review. In this case there is no doubt you are owed a report and people are to be made accountable as the whole purpose of myleague.com/civ4players is fun, people finishing their games and reporting loses in an honest timely fashion.

The rules are posted clearly on the myleague rules link. There is no excuse for not reading them.

Just FYI if you have not noticed this new feature...If the game has been finished it will be listed in your hall of fame (well at least right now and with all the options probably for a while somewhere) if you click on the listing there you get the ending screens, the playback, the scores list ect. So if you don't get a screen shot at the end of the game you can go there and take one.
