This is a little dated, but it's still interesting. If liberals are communists then neocons are fascists, heh. "In the ranks of the new conservatives ... I see and experience much hate. It comes to me in violently worded, ignorant and irrational emails from self-professed conservatives who literally worship George Bush. There appears to be a large number of Americans who are prepared to kill anyone for George Bush. The Iraqi War is serving as a great catharsis for multiple conservative frustrations: job loss, drugs, crime, homosexuals, pornography, female promiscuity, abortion, restrictions on prayer in public places, Darwinism and attacks on religion. Liberals are the cause. Liberals are against America. Anyone against the war is against America and is a liberal. "You are with us or against us." This is the mindset of delusion, and delusion permits no facts or analysis. Blind emotion rules. Americans are right and everyone else is wrong. End of the debate. The conservative movement that I grew up in did not share the liberals' abiding faith in government. "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Today it is liberals, not conservatives, who endeavor to defend civil liberties from the state. Conservatives have been won around to the old liberal view that as long as government power is in their hands, there is no reason to fear it or to limit it. Thus, the Patriot Act, which permits government to suspend a person's civil liberty by calling him a terrorist with or without proof. Thus, preemptive war, which permits the President to invade other countries based on unverified assertions. There is nothing conservative about these positions. Delusion is still the defining characteristic of the Bush administration. We have smashed Fallujah, a city of 300,000, only to discover that the 10,000 US Marines are bogged down in the ruins of the city. If the Marines leave, the "defeated" insurgents will return. Meanwhile the insurgents have moved on to destabilize Mosul, a city five times as large. Thus, the call for more US troops. There are no more troops. Our former allies are not going to send troops. The only way the Bush administration can continue with its Iraq policy is to reinstate the draft. When the draft is reinstated, conservatives will loudly proclaim their pride that their sons, fathers, husbands and brothers are going to die for "our freedom." Not a single one of them will be able to explain why destroying Iraqi cities and occupying the ruins are necessary for "our freedom." But this inability will not lessen the enthusiasm for the project. To protect their delusions from "reality-based" critics, they will demand that the critics be arrested for treason and silenced. Many encouraged by talk radio already speak this way." -- Paul Craig Roberts Source: blogcritics.org/archives/2005/01/25/115508.phpThis article articulated (haha pun) my thoughts with the current situation both with NeoCon vs Liberal and the entire Bush administration. I felt the author was much better able to organize and express my feelings on the subject. I hope you enjoyed! "There's a liberal! Get him! Hang his sorry ass!" -- [Insert Talk Show Radio Host Name Here] I hope there wasn't too many generalizations for you, I'd hate to sound like a conservative

This article articulated (haha pun) my thoughts with the current situation both with NeoCon vs Liberal and the entire Bush administration. I felt the author was much better able to organize and express my feelings on the subject. I hope you enjoyed! I hope there wasn't too many generalizations for you, I'd hate to sound like a conservative I felt the author was much better able to organize and express my feelings on the subject.- Why, because you were not as high as he obviously was? Nah, you will not ever sound like a conservative; you make too many baseless accusations, discredit without concern of fact or truth and basically lack the compasion to stand tall and proud as an American. But we accept you and , as christians do, forgive you. Ever wonder why the military is so depleted? do some research and tell me what you see happened in the last 25 years. Like what is going on in Iraq or not there are not nearly enough troops there to do what is asked of them. Can you honestly say Nancy Pelosi is sain? Can you tell me you are not suspicous of Team Clinton and their agenda? Frankly, they all scare the sheep out of me. If there was a fascist that were to run for office, no, not Harry Reid, and I agreed with them and their platform I would vote for them. That goes for any 'party' member. _________ People Talk about Crime in their Neighborhoods, well, blame not the local peoples, look to the politicians, they run the towns. This is true on all levels, but often more aparent on the local level. I had someone send me an email of montabello Highschool today. The protesters had the Mexican flag raised over the upsidedown US flag. What does this tell you, I am damn sure what I make of it! Post and email and I'll forward you the pics if ya want...

The main definition of fascism is strong devotion to nationhood and sacrifice for country. It is a philosophy that exalts nation above the individual.
Yes I am a fascist, I guess
Just because the most famous fascist regime, Mussolini was a dictator does not me that fascism must go hand in hand with autocratic or dictatorial government.
A Neocon/Imperialism is a policy of extending the power and dominion of a nation especially by direct territorial acquisitions or by gaining indirect control over the political or economic life of other areas.
Yes I'm a neocon then too.
I believe the United States is a great good in this world and the world owes much to America for the blood it has shed around the world throughout history, and the stability it has provided. The bright light of democracy should be shone as far and wide as our influence can manage. Our foreign aid should be more scrutinized to only got to countries that are advancing toward democracy and policies like our own. The military should be brought down on those countries that threaten that advancement.
If America companies get lucrative contracts and control of some of the resources to develop, along the way, all the better. That equals extra tax revenue to fiance the ongoing campaign. If it were up to me, the defense spending of the United States would be probably 50% of the governments budget. The main reason for a government is to protect the country's border and guarantee its security.
Facsist/Neocon/Imperialist...... You betcha.
And it should not just be the U.S. carrying the load for the whole world. We should start a new world organization of democracies to replace the U.N. which has become a sounding box for the piss-ant dictators of the world. It would not necessarily replace it but the U.S. cease paying it membership fees and put them toward a more effective world body. The two bodies could compete and let the best one win out and that would be the new org. of democracies. Or maybe both would survive. They can debate and sound off in the U.N. and decisions actually get made and things accomplished in the demo. org..
The tyrants, terrorist thugs and dictators of the world are embolden because of the western world is a bunch of p::ssies. They sense we don't have the stomach for this type of grinding warfare and we will eventually loose this war of terror unless we began to understand the abstract foe we face. Loose is a strong word, but things will get alot worse over the next 20 or 30 years if we keep allowing dictators and terrorist nation to carry on like they do now.
I could write a few pages on this topic but better rap it up here. Any longer and most will skip it.

I'm not fallowing a neo-con bandwagon, I am the neo-con bandwagon
Communist are liberals. Communism the perfect system for those who don't wanna work, who just wanna bang on there drum all day(liberals). Communist(liberals), blame other people for there own failures, and because life is so unfair they need welfare for the rest of there lives. Commusnist(liberals) believe everything should be equal even though in reallity(where I'm from) nothing is equal. Communist(liberals) protect the criminal eliment in the name of political correctness while punishing the innocent. Its because of Communist(liberals) that someone can rob you, get hurt while doing it, then turn aound and sue the person they where robbing. Its because of Communist(liberals) someone can rape your under age daughter, knock her up, and have her get an abortion without parental notification. Its because of Communist(liberals) that I can kill my wife and her boy friend and totally get away with it cause a cop called me a n;ggr.
Am I wrong? Take me on. I bace my opinions around moral absolutes. Right and wrong, good and evil. I do not compimise with evil, I destroy it.
Zzz, if you really wanna hear pointless hate speach 24/7 on the radio, lisson to air america(Air USSR). They call repulicans nazi's atleast every other hour.
Bottom line - Call me neo-con, call me fashist, call me an imperialist, BUT DON"T YOU DARE CALL ME A LIBERAL!!!

Zhenon you make me proud what are you doing reading Paul Craig Roberts? you better stop that or you might get smarter. Mussolini said Fascism is the perfect merger of power between the corportation and the state. One of the best modern scholarly works on Fascism is "Fourteen Defining Charactoristics of Fascism" by Dr. Lawrence Britt 1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays. 2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc. 3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc. 4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized. 5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution. 6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common. 7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses. 8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions. 9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite. 10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed. 11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked. 12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations. 13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders. 14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections. Nope no resemblance to western society there. Back to sleep.

ok smatt, i'm gunna take your (not so little) list of points on 1 by 1
1. Sounds like north korea or the soviot union. Nothing better then pictures and statues of your dictator everywhere.
2. lol this one defenetly reminds me of the USSR. Say the wrong thing and its off to siberia. Liberals would love to send me to siberia. Infact, if they come to power in america hate speach (only the hate speach that liberals don't approve of) will be illegal.
3. I cant think of a country that doesn't do this one.
4. USSR, china, north korea, are fine exsamples of this. They can't feed there people, but they can fuel ICBMs and put nukes on them.
5. Americans care more about sexual orrentation then anything. The first woman gay lez blah blah blah to be blah. This is because liberals focus on nothing but sex and skin color. But the terditional (male dominated) family continues to decline. Abortions are on the rise. And people dont even bother getting married anymore because it has become meaningless. I'm fighting for the right to marry my 67 Chevy Nova but the dam pigs in goverment wont let me.
6. China is huge on this one. If you wanna see a state ran media, go there.
7. National security in America is a joke. We really wanna be secure we gotta act like North Korea where ever 5th person is an undercover agent.
8. Iran is the biggy here. In america there is seperation of church and state. In Iran the church dictates to the state. Thats why they cant raise the age of concent from 9 to 13. Sounds like liberal utopia.
9. This one is more like Japan. I like Japan myself. I got me a toyota and it rocks. Of couse the japs can really only by jap cars because there corpate government terriffs the hell out of the compition. In america you can buy any car u want at the world price. (until Liberals come to power)
10. In america the Labor has become so powerful that they're driving the companys they work for out of bussiness. China aint got no Labor laws. The workers are pissed on there and they thank the pissers for not claining them too.
11. Art is in the eye of the beholder. If I think your "art" is nothing more then some perv smering paint on a canvus with his ass, thats my opinion. Liberals would have sex with kids and call it art if they could get away with it. (and they will if they rise to power)
12. American's have no respect for laws. China and North Korea is far more obsest with making there people fallow laws. Go break a law there and see for yourself the difference between the great country you live in and there communist crap holes you want to make this country more like.
13. LOL, Where on earth is there no coruption. I admit america has corupt members in the goverment right now. Like Congress man William Jefferson from Luisiana who is caught taking bribes from FBI agent. He was caught with 90 large in his freeser and he's still there.(because he's black and congress dont wanna apear rasist)
14. For every cheater on the right there is a cheater on the left. Atleast America has elections. Liberals like Putin just assainates there compition. In China the milatary behind the scences runs everything.
Nope no resemblance to western society there. I think while you where sleeping you where dreaming you lived in China the USSR, or Iran.

Still infatuated with Paul Craig Roberts, hmmm. He is very proud to proclaim his beliefs, rare that he mentions opposing views. Wait, I mean rare that smatt reports PCR's opposing views. Anyone can take excerpts from a book or speech and make it show whatever(p o v) they want... On September 14, 2006, he wrote: The explanation that the three WTC buildings collapsed as a result of damage and fire is a mere assertion. The assertion is not backed up with scientific calculation to demonstrate that the energy from the airliners, fire, and gravity were sufficient to collapse the buildings. A number of independent authorities believe that there is a very large energy deficit in the official account of the collapse of the buildings. Until this issue is resolved, the official explanation is merely an assertion no matter who believes it. That sounds like an intelligent statement. 'Assertions' work both ways, likely to remain the case for many points of view.On September 7, 2006,he wrote: I do not know what happened on 9/11, and I don’t expect to ever find out. Neither government nor media show any interest in providing us with anything except a political commission’s report. Again, a fine statement, no baseless claims. Sticking to facts and asserting his opinion; that there are not many, I can accept that. Post in context or don't bother at all, smatt. Incidentally, I pulled this off the 'not always accurate wiki page 'on PCR. I noticed two paragraphs above what I posted is what you posted, why not ad the last two quotes? um, never mind TGS I would have to agree with your summation.
