You can get liberalism in BC times quite easily (especially if you are phi) Recipe to get liberalism in under 70 turns from ancient on quick speed: 1) Reasearch Meditation, polytheism. 2) Build stonehenge 3) Reasearch priesthood, mysticism. 4) Start reasearching towards music 5) Build the oracle and get code of laws instantly with it 6) Use your first great prophet to instantly get civil service (as long as you dont have masonary you can get civ service with a great prophet) 7) When you have everything you need to get music start researching paper and philosophy 8) Use your second prophet to instantly get music (as long as you do have civil service and dont have masonary a great prophet will give you music) 9) Use the great artist you get from music to get education (education is so expensive that it works faster to go music first and spend the great artist) 10) Research liberalism Voila! You have lib well within BC times You will end up with enough time to research bronze working while waiting for great prophets so also get bronze working early Also check this thread where i posted about what great people give in terms of tech. civ4players.proboards44.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1149626868

To begin with, you're putting a lot of stock in being able two wonders. This can be difficult at the least. Secondly, why would you want Liberalism so early? Is one free tech really worth bending your entire game-plan around while getting no military techs? Considering that the same effect can come from building the oracle, I don't believe it is.

After you get music, won't the great artist just give you drama?
IMO the entire techjump to liberalism isn't worth it... but the jump for civil service is worth it. If I have a good chance of getting stonehenge or oracle (or both), I'd probably ignore masonry to get that jump.

NAGN have to tested this theory or just planned it using pen and paper?
Because the artist will give you Drama, then monachy, then philo, then nationalism ... Education??

It is pretty feasible to get all these. Drama is cheap. Scientist gives philosophy. Artist gives nationalism. If you have great library and national epic (and may be heroic), not to mention parth, it is feasible to have had one of each. But I'm just saying this stuff off the top of my head. The best teching cton I had I got a lot of useful techs with great ppl.
