When did Scrapping become the first resort that people go to. Back in the golden age of the ladder players didn't autmoatically call for scrap. They would try and work through any bugs as much as possible before determining that the game needed to be scrapped.
Today I played in a game where the first turn was laggy. 10 secs per every 1 sec on the turn timer. Yes that sucks.. yes it is unplayable if it remains. See what the second turn does!!! damn we scrap a game on the first turn because it is a little slow? We had no oos we had no other issues. Just a delay in the first turn.
So someone decides that it is scrapped without everyone agreeing to it. He leaves and wahla second turn no lag. Go figure!!!
People need to learn a bit more patience and not resort to scrap off the bat. There needs to be a rule indicating that if you leave a game before a consensus is made then you must report to everyone that you abandoned in the game. We all know it takes 15-30 minutes to get a game going, and for one person to decide the game is not to his liking and decides to scrap that is CRAP!!!
Let's see some sort of rule implented to deter people from auto scrapping.
