I'd like to play an epic in FFA style with tech and ressource trading. In ctons and teamers I miss this diplomatic part of playing civ.
To allow all players early contact and on the other hand relatively equal land size I suggest the wheel map as the best choice.
As for the tech trading might be unfair if a player doesn't find a tech trading partner, I suggest allys of 2 players are determinded before the game gets started.
Here the FFA Epic settings:
Dates:
Session 1 : Saturday, 16th September 10:00 am - 4:00 pm EST (3:00 pm - 9:00 pm GMT), Warlordslobby
Session 2 : Saturday, 23th September 10:00 am - 4:00 pm EST (3:00 pm - 9:00 pm GMT), Warlordslobby
Map: poll Size: Standard Timer: fast (trading takes its time) Era:ancient Elimination: none Tech Trading: On Always War: Off Speed: quick Players: 8-10
Let's have some diplomatic fun... All ladders welcome.

I'm sure we can agree on other times then. I thought around 3 pm GMT would give most europeans more time to play an epic game, since the most of us want to play it for 5-6 hous anyway. But if it's only few hours to early or to late for you to participate, feel free to post here and we agree on other times...

I would love to play but a fast turn timer is just too fast for me to play a cton, let alone try to make deals as well. I hunt and peck to type. A Terra or Pangaea map would be better for diplomacy so that all civs can meet each other early and they don't become isolated teams. Wheel is ok for this but Pangaea or Terra is better.

I'm up for Epic and appreciate the earlier starttime for us europeans as it just isn't feasible playing past 10 pm on Sunday night.
I'd like to see the bulk of the game played out on Saturday and so Sunday if required is a finishing off affaire.
Indeed, if game not decided by 10 pm GMT Sunday it should be saved and resumed the following weekend.
