wow is all i can say about that pitt/indy game. that has to be the best game since the rose bowl that i've seen this year. the whole afc playoffs went different then what i thought. hoping pitt can beat denver in the playoffs.
nfc i got it right with car going to seattle. both title games are going to be good games. and if seattle can't stop smith expect car in the superbowl.
heres my superbowl pick now. pitt vs car

Pitts vs Carolina??? Yuck I dont want a 6-3 ball game. Car is a good team, but I dont think they have what it takes to win in Seattle, the same thing I said about Washington. Pit will not win in Denver. The Pit Indy game was a great game, I cannot believe Jerome Bettis fumbled the ball on the one yard line with only a minute to go. Talk about great endings. I think a Seattle-Denver super bowl would be cool. They used to be old AFC West Rivals, and to have them face off in the super bowl is a dream come true for just about every Seattle fan. Truthfully I am more worried about the Hawks facing Carolina than Chicago, but I am fairly confident they will pull off a W.

Too bad we didnt get the steelers vs pats afc finals Glad that the 2 best remaining teams got to the superbowl. The steelers O-line has impressed me.

I honestly cant think of a better super bowl than Pitt and Seattle. It makes it so sweet that EVERYONE has been picking against the Seahawks all year, and they continually win week after week and make these "experts" eat crow. Seattle is relishing a team-first super bowl berth, and the way Seattle has played this year and in the playoffs, they absolutely deserve it. Go Seahawks!

And we now have a head coach who has taken 2 different teams to the SB.

No Pats, Colts and Steelers! The redskins game was a joke, they had no decent offence and you can't win games like that unless the other team screws and gives you the ball... (which is why tampa lost to the redskins). The Panthers were not a real threat, sure they rolled over the bears, but that Grossman dude was the most utter sucky QB in the PO's yet, can't really expect more from a QB that has barely played all season. The only reason the panthers beat the bears was cause their pass coverage tripped themself twice and steve smith became open... Nevertheless one can't denire that Seattle hasn't done good, they have done what was expected, qualified to the superbowl. But if the Steelers O-line can impress as much as they've done vs the colts and broncos, then i don't think Seattle will have much chance. Should be a good game and i'm looking forward to trying that Roethlis Burger

Should be a good game and i'm looking forward to trying that Roethlis Burger Are you sure you want to bet against the Seahawks when all of the "experts" who have been doing it all year continue to look stupid? And as for a weak playoff series, well it doesnt say much for Tampa that they lost to this "weak" ass Redskins team that got beat by Seattle. And Carolina was a great team, I emphasize the word "was" because Seattle completely shut them down. They executed a flawless game plan to shut down Steve Smith. Their defense played incredibly. Hasslebeck threw incredibly. And of course Alexander shined. Pitt will be a hard game, but I have learned over the course of this year that predictions, rather they be from so called "experts", disgruntled fans, or anyone else mean exactly jack nuts until the two teams hit the field and go to war. Shannon Sharpe has already said that the "real" super bowl was Denver and Pitt. What a joke. That guy is just pissed because he hates the Seahawks and bet against them all year long, and looked stupid after every game. He was all about Denver beating Pitt, and that didnt even come CLOSE to happening. Maybe Shannon should consider a career change because he obviously has no idea how to accurately predict football games.

umm saturn u guys where lucky to beat the skins. now hold hold and don't get your thongs get all tight and get u all wild up let me explain how washington lost the game and not get beat by the seahawks.
final score of seahawks vs skins game 20-10
1st washington missed 2 fgs thats 6 points there so if they would of made it score would of been 20-16
2nd washington conorback droped a int that was a sure 6 points. by him dropping that int u guys got a 2nd chance and ended up scoring a td. so had he caught that int and ran it back cause he had a open road to the endzone score would of been washington 23- seattle 13.(minus 7 for seattle cause they scored on that drive where the int should of happen at.
3rd moss dropped a td pass with under 3 mins left int he game. so score should of been 30-13
so don't say the skins where weak when u guys got acouple breaks your way. skins owned seattle in that game and they should of won it had the things i've metion above had happen. washington had more offensive yards then seattle, just like i think the pats beat themselfs when they played denver acouple weeks back. denver scored 24 points off new england turnovers. had them turnovers not happen new england would of won game 17-7.

Yeah well you were obviously watching a different game than I was. The Deadskins took out Alexander in the first quarter, and all of the people who thought the Hawks were one dimensional ate crow when the Seahawks turned around and won. You can sit here all day and say things like "well, if the Skins had just done THIS or THAT they would have won". By your same logic the Seahawks should have beat the Redskins in their first meeting when Josh Brown barely missed the game winning field goal. There was all this talk after the Giants lost to the Seahawks that "the 3 field goals lost the game". Well first off, it is because of that bs call for Jeremy Shockey TD that the Giants were even able to get into that position. A call by the way which the NFL later apologized for, but no one mentions that. Its all about how the Giants SHOULD have beaten the Seahawks. Well guess what. Denver SHOULD have beaten Pitt but they didn't. Tampa SHOULD have beaten the Deadskins, but they didn't. The Pats SHOULD have beaten Denver, you know the drill. The difference between the two teams that are in the Super Bowl right now, and the rest of the pack is that the Super Bowl teams were able to pull off W's in the games that they needed to win, plain and simple. Indianapolis, this DYNASTY of a team according to the East coast media lost to the Steelers. Plain and simple. If they were so good, they would not have blown the game, they would not have even made it a close game. The better team won. Pitt beat them fair and square. A true team would have won the game they needed to win to advance in the playoffs. And lets hope your Packers step it up a bit next year, huh? It looks like Seattle is gelling into a dominant NFC team, and I don't see that changing anytime in the near future. I would love to see some great grudge matches between the Packers and Hawks.

By the way Ghost, I know that as a football fan you understand that a huge part of winning football games is capitalizing on turnovers. Seattle did that against Washington.

yes saturn being able to crete turnovers and scoring off of turnovers is how most teams become campions. not knocking you guys as u all played as underdogs most of the season and also vs alot of east coast bias fans.
btw i was maybe even happier then you when seattle won the game vs washington. living anywhere from pa to fla u get tired of redskins fans. they have to be the dumbest football fans i have ever met and trust me thats saying alot. as i lived in wi,pa,md,va so i met alot of different skins fans over my lifetime and ever year its the same thing.

That is funny. I was watching the Seattle boards when they played the Redskins and the Redskins fans were just awful. Most of them could barely string two words together. Carolina had a bunch of fans congratulate us and Pittsburgh has come on and wished us luck and a good game. Sportsmanship is a huge part of the game, but the rivalries are nice too. By the way, wasn't it funny at halftime yesterday when Steve Smith threw a tantrum, saying "they had 4 guys on me! " That was probably my favorite part of the whole game.

I'll say it again... Seattle has had some easy PO games. Now comes the real test, can they beat a decent team (steelers).
Fact is that the redskins QB has sucked throughout the PO, he never really got anything going. The panthers had good 1 player, you lock him down and the game is pretty much over.
