the fact that withdrawing units cause flanking damage is completely slowed, I mean the whole concept is slowed as far as this game goes, but that's just horribly stupid.

I hate flanking so much. Seriously who is the friggen genious that came up with the idea that siege units should automatically die just because mounted units hit your stack.

Flanking also gives a slowed amount of messages which makes it semi impossible (for me) to tell what the eff actually happened in the battle. I also think overall the catapult is far better now than in warlords. I unistalled the other day and then while re-downloading bts decided to play some vanilla civ, but lobby was too exmpty so I played SP, ai had city with lonbow, pike and mace, I wook it with 5 catas, and only 2 of my catas died, those were the days hehe.

Cuirs are becoming pretty popular in ren games as people have largely reverted back to the old tech path of GP, Nat, Militrad, although astro is still a popular choice, but I have yet to see a conquistador in BTS and doubt that I ever will.

They are the most rediculous unit yet, the only suitable counter is formation pikes which you can't mass produce unless you are an agressive civ. Most mind blowing is they decided to nerf conquistadors but then add a unit that is better than conqs were in the first place.

that's funny tommy when yur the one pinging the crap outta me. there's a difference between offering friendly advice and telling me what do do with every unit every turn...and he made a load of mistakes in that game but i'm not gonna bother listing them.

Oh I'm done here, I've made my point and I just hope some of the leet people understand that while it's no fun to have a newb die on your team it's equally unfun to be micromanaged and berated through an entire game, especialy one where your actualy doing well. Anywho maybe I just wanted to stoke the flames a little bit before CCC. Good luck to everyone may the best clan win!

It's pretty natural for people to choose players they've played the most with and are comforable with Ellestar. The teamer we played was 5 MuD + 3 others, 1 of wich was you and you play with those guys all the time. Join a 8 player teamer with 5 ills captained by two ills and see how fast you get picked.

My mistake, I saw you on MUD roster for this CCC so I assumed you were a member. Fair enough I suppose. I'm a better teamer player than you Says who? How do you measure such a thing anyway? You can't. I agree that team playing is a different dynamic and some people are better at doing what's good for the team while others simply try to showboat and get the high score or wonder sleeper but there's only one way to measure who is a more skilled player and that's with the duel. If your so against that than meet me in a cton and we'll see who needs to learn how to play. And if you ever have the good fortune to play on a team with me again stfu and listen you might learn something, nub.

No reason? It's called building a stack Ellestar. My basic point is that you question all my moves and tell me I don't know what I'm doing but you have NOTHING to back it up with because all you do is hide behind tommy and the rest of your clanmates in your teamers. Plenty of other #1 ranked players have come and gone before you piggy-backing on tommy with that same excuse, I don't play duels cause I don't like them. Your not fooling a single person tho, most duels can be finished in 20-30 mins tops so you if you don't want to do it for fun do it for honor, do it to prove you deserve to be #1. Too bad your scared you'll be eating your words and getting owned by a low-skill no nothing noob like me.

Noobs keep dying....and egotistical thingys keep micromanaging.
I've played 1000 games on the ladder you really think I need you to tell me to hook up my copper when I'm front lines in an ancient teamer? You guys take all the fun out of civing and from now on the only games I play we will be on opposite sides, which means i'll probably only ever play you in the ccc because all your teamers are 75%+ composed of your clan, how else would you all stay in the top 10?
And to Mr.Ranked #1 who says I need to learn how to play: Quit being a chicken and accept my duel challenge, then we'll see who gets schooled.
