anc-med ctons should be played on two city elim, because 2 city elim is of course a buildfest in early game. who cares teamers are more fun anyway

Wouldn't mind one city elim if the start area distances were more uniform. If your neighbor has a significant distance to his other neighbor, he can make an all-out attack knowing he's safe on the other end. It is fairly typical to have a couple players with a larger buffer zone, especially with an odd number of players in game on most of the circular maps.

That's a pet peeve of mine - how come everyone likes 7 players on inland sea for ctons? 6 is even land. 8 is even land, but 7 always means someone gets a whole bunch of extra space.
And yet every single game has 7. I'm honestly curious if there's something special about 7 players that explains it.

Would be great if the killer cton was a choice, in game setup. Its a lot harder to get to play when its not calculated in game. Must be easy for someone to mod, but then again its hard to get people to play mod.
I think most games would be Killer (100-400p /citykill ), if it was in the setup choice
Anyone "incrowd" with firaxis ?

1 city elimination is bs. Civfr is using this game style. Most attacks are surprise attacks either with horse or sea attzacks. Such attacks don't prove your civ skills at all and base on the lack of time for the defender to react. In our 2 city elimination style you gotta know how to overtech, overproduce nd overpower your opponents in order to win, beacuse you can hardly surprise some1 twice. Stay at 2 city elim pls.

The surprise attack are what makes it more interesting imo. I can get my ironing done in the excitement of most 2 city elim ctons. Maybe that's why my stats aren't too good?

1 city elim in civ 4 would be a kill fest. Especially now with warlords out and chariots getting +50% vs Axes. All a player has to do in build up a stack of like 15 chariots and go after their neighbor. Egypt and Persia would be especially deadly if this was the case.
