the last turn lasted only 6 hours. Civstats shows the turn has just end but the timer is already down to 3 hours left...
I think we need to have a break til that problem is fixed. Or if someone else can host that might be a solution as well.

Do we have a volunteer to host this?

How soon do you think you'll be able to fix the problem, whiplash? I guess if it'll be a while we could look and see if there's someone who'd host at Stratagamer...

Ok, cable guy #3 replaced the line from the pole to the building and expresses great confidence that the problem is fixed.
Unless there are some objections or problems I will restart the game around 8:00 AM tomorrow EDT. The reload will be 1570AD with 7:40 left on the turn timer. Plattfuss, bantams, igloo, emperor, and tamijo need to finish the turn on this round.

Good game Ian, you did a pretty fine job trying to fend off Elucidus, ToT and I despite being way behind in techs. I couldn't quite finish off your last city this turn, but I'll fix that tonight.

Done my turn wow Ive got a Fishing Boat now How long will it take for somebody to sink it? This game no longer holds any interest for me; but I will keep it up as long as the players wish. If I ever host another it will be with tech trading turned off. Good point on that one Whip ... I've noticed that the games I play with no tech trading seem to be more realistic and fair to the bulk of the players.

I've suspended the game with about an hour to go in 1630AD. All but Bantams have played the turn.
The reason for taking the game down is to consider a player request to reload 2 turns back. Apparently two players messed up the use of the game mechanics getting unintended results.
I'm inclined to honor the request; but I'd like to hear from any players who think this might mess things up for them.

This is really embarrassing ;D Warning emailed me that he would be willing to surrender and when I connected to the game I just saw that capitulation was offered but didn't realize it was the wrong way round. I was almost off to work and agreed without giving it too much thought.
I am not sure tho whether it is necessary to reload since I saw that there is a rule that the master state can ask the vassal for a tribute - not sure how that exactly works tho. If that tribute is denied the 2 states are immediately back to war.
Anyhow, Warning, u deserve a diplomatic victory for this. ;D

Well, do you want me to reload 2 turns back or no?
Either way I'll play Bantam's civ just to keep the clock moving faster.

Exactly where? The turn before the current turn (1630AD), or the turn before that?
