I'll admit that my ISP have been a bunch of douche bags and between around 5pm and 12am GMT I drop a lot. So I've avoided playing at that time. If I'm dropping and its only me, well clearly its my problem and I always apologise for it.
However sometimes I won't be able to 'pass' someone to enter a staging room or existing game, or someone won't be able to pass me. How can you possibly say who's fault that is? Also when the game is stuck when you first enter it - how can you blame that on a particular person?
I have no idea how it works, but its clear Civ is far from perfect at supporting internet gameplay. Perhaps its typical for games of its kind, no idea.
But please would people stop blaming others unless they have a degree in interetishness and pingology! Or if its clearly one person consistently dropping or having a very high ping.

Everyone runs into those problems, only if everyone is waiting for you every turn, its y having a specific problem. Some times i can play 3 weeks with not a single problem, and then suddently i drop in every game for a day or two. The more people in lobby/games the worse everything gets. Must be a server problem. Thought y only played warcraft these days ?
