I just recently moved, and here they use a hardware firewall. I opened all ports (edit: on the hardware firewall) to my computers local ip and installed a software firewall (sygate) at once. But when i try to log in to gs lobby it says: "connection to the game browsing server failed", with:"Server unreachable" in title. I have tried the last 48 h, at least. The strange thing is that if i enter the wrong password for my gs account it says "login attempt failed" just like normal.
Why cant i log in?
btw: Only civ is affected, everything else works flawless...
Any ideas? (the cravings are really starting to itch:/)
another edit: im not using windows firewall, neither do i use any other program during my attempts. os is xp, and i have reinstalled civ and updated it. restarted with shift a numrous times... and singleplayer mode works perfect!
