So I am playing MissLadyLuck, Geforced, and 9Iron in a game of Fall From Heaven 2 and I decide to have some fun and scout around with my settler. I decided that I dont need to have a city to kill someone. I run into MLL and decide to attack him full force. I end up killing MissLadyLuck without even having a city ROFL. Lets all give a round of applause to MLL for officially being the first person to die by losing A city that has been built for 18 turns to someone who never planted rofl there starting settler.... BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. WHY STOP THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DECIDE TO PLAY A REMATCH WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY WANTED to play a new game. I do the same thing again...... This time I kill Geforced in 12 Turns without planting my settler and I go on to take over his City hahahahahhhah, but they decide to all leave the game so I couldn't go on to win ROFL Wish I had picks but was eager to play a third game and kill 9iron this time. Edit: We just played a third game and I killed Geforced in 3 turns Now they are refusing to play with me

Sounds like there is something amiss with the scenario then. Or they're just a bunch of FFH2 newbs which is hardly a surprise. If this makes you feel better about ..0.. getting nil points in the CCC, then I am very disappointed

GOOD JOB!
CLEARLY the reason you remain number1 on the ladder!
(well, that and report/ladder manipulation)

GT, it was maybe fun the first time when you killed MLL without planting your city.
But after that they asked you to stop this style of play cause it is not much fun. They (and me) are playing that MOD since 2 weeks or so and all they want to do is trying to learn how to play it, get to know about laters techs and different civs. Getting killed in the first 50 turns is not how ppl will learn to play this MOD.
Considering the speed of the game (which is really slow even on quick) its not much fun to get killed that early. Furthermore it takes ages to get a game going (cause very few ppl play that MOD).
So why would you actually kill someone without planting a city?
Fun the first time. Be proud of yourselves in achieving that. But doing it a second and/or a third time after agreeing not to do it again is just stupid. No wonder why they dont want to play with you again ...

So when can mgt be banned from forums again for making absolutely worthless threads to stir up his own ego? He's neglecting as usual to point out all the information - that 1 civ in this completely imbalanced MOD starts with 3 city attack warriors right off the bat, and we were playing a balanced map where players are packed in as close as 4 or 5 squares away from each other. Also, settlers have 4 moves and 9 vision, so they can walk around scouting out the closest city within 2 turns if not 1. So using his supreme skill he could attack a city with 3 warriors against one just walking them straight to the person. Yeah, let's all praise him, he must certainly be amazing - oh wait anyone could do that, including someone who has never played the game in their life. And FYI, mgt had 0 points in both games, since he lost his settler both times, living up to his clan name, ..0.. quite aptly.

If the Whole point of the game is to build up into the later eras it is gg to whoever gets the hyborem. One game i played against geforced where i could kill him easy with my hero, so i just stole two workers and left him alone but twenty turns later he gets hybroem and starts taking my cities.. I stick with mgt case here if you can killl quick go for it because it totally sux when later on when the others are stronger they decide to attack u with the superhero nuts. shame on you for dying twice or three times from that tactic rofl. if the warrior only has city attack why not make a nuts load of warriors at the start and attack them?

The civs with 3 warriors (the raiders) and the civ that starts with a bonus on melee (the dwarves) are ridiculous. Start near either of them and you will die (instantly to the raiders and slow and painfully to the dwarves). The tech tree takes so long to get anywhere you can't get a counter until late in the game.

I wish I knew what you all talking about. Doesn't sound like a balanced game worth playing form what I read so far.

More people around to encourage them changing things like 3 warrior/1 scout starting civs would help alot...bone catapults were nerfed thats nice :0

the problem with FfH2 to my understanding is that it was made manly as a sp mod, and ther for not really balanced for MP. Now if the MP crowd would give Kael and his team some more feed back maybe they would make a FfH3 that is more balanced for MP

I'd be happy if we could just get basic mods like UQC and UU Madness tried as staple ladder games, if people are willing now to try FFH2 then maybe we can go back and try the others.
