Eiffel has been very supportive with his C4F app, and we have now worked in support to the BTS lobby. Please either D/L the C4F beta here: www.civ4fans.com/c4f2007beta.exeOr if this is the version you are using, restart it and it will auto update, it not only supports the BTS lobby but all the BTS scenarios as well. Thanks very much to Eiffel for his continuing support. CS

For sure, i wouldn't do this too... and we don't need the old war civ3/civ4 to come back But it' s still useful to stay in contact with old friends. Btw, if you encounter problem with the new beta, it will certainly be a firewall issue. In that case, try disabling it, connecting once to the lobby... then reactivate the firewall and you wouldn't need to turn it off anymore. Not tested in vista, can't give support for vista now, will check later.

No Need to worry about Vista 64bit I removed it 6 weeks ago but would be nice to be able to see peoples locations again though dosnt seem to work or is that its only for Admins now?
And why put C3C Chat in it if ya dont wont us to Advertise C4BtS but yes it is funny speaking to all the C3C players and winding them up ;D

The country detection is slowing the chat/software... cause each time someone joins, it checks online to detect the country. So I've disabled it by default... you can activate the function in the contextual menu that is shown when you right click on a player in the list (in the lobby chat).... in the "group by" section, you can set it ON/OFF.

oohhhh..........wouldn't if I were you bantams........they'll lynch you She isnt lying, twice been in that lobby and old friends were just really angry at me that i didnt play civ3 anymore, saying civ4 "isnt really civ" and that civ4 "is really slow and boring" I just think they're crying becuase they can't learn the new concepts properly and get frustrated by their own closed mindedness. Many civ3 vets burned out from trying civ4, including myself, the ego is not a good thing to bring to the table I can assure ye Eiffel we love you and everything, but please stop this annoying PM noise and let it automatically log me in, remembering my login info, and I dont know why you got rid of the whole "msn style" interface, that was great for tracking friends on c4f without having to search in all the lobbies for them. thanks you <3

Yes I know what Earl is talking about, alot of C3Cers blame Civ4 for the demise of there community, some really bitter people don't even like me coming in with my [C4PAdmin] tag But most still are good friends. And yes Eiffel please set C4F to auto store our login data ! CS

On clicking "OK" on the splash screen I receive an exception and it crashes:
"An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)"
Windows XP Professional SP2 x64 on a dual-core AMD.

I have no 64 bits OS so I can't test it.
When i have time, I'll try to update the old C4F too... I think this one is working under 64bits systems too, no ?
