Wow, with the way the colts are playing defense I can't see them losing. Don't they have a great coach though? He really turned his team around. And Manning what can I say, arrogant for sure but he sure knows how to recognise a defense and change a call at the line. The bears will not show him any defensive skeems that he will not recognise. The guy just doesnt throw interceptions anymore. Impressive. Side note, I was alwasy a SF49ers fan sucks to be me last few years No doubt about it, Beers maybe able to use there defense heavy handedly against NFC teams but a team like the Colts forget it. And is Manning really the arrogant type? I was watching a bio on him and the guy is kind of a moron off the field, which is cool, but it just leads me to believe he a humble fella. Mariuchi is a free agent, maybe San Fran picks him and TO up and they take the team back to the dynasty days ;D

Dont tell me you actually expected Seattle to lose...
Seattle is going to the playoffs, 3 weak opponents left and then the undefeated colts on christmas eve (suck date for a topgame like this /sigh)

Seattle is going to the playoffs, 3 weak opponents left and then the undefeated colts on christmas eve (suck date for a topgame like this /sigh) Yeah I have been trying to get tickets for the game but they are super expensive, and it would suck to make the 3 hour drive to Seattle on Christmas Eve. As far as the game goes, it actually may not end up meaning a thing. If Seattle locks homefield by then, they will play their 2nd string most likely, and Indianapolis has already said they will play their 2nd string so it comes down to which team has the better 2nd string. Even a Seahawks win, which would be a big morale boost, wouldn't really matter at that point. The only team I am concerned about in the Playoffs are the Bears, and MAYBE the Panthers. The others shouldnt be too bad.

Ooooh that would be good. This guy is not head coach material. He's a smooth talker (and a very nice guy). Unfortunately, that doesn't get your team properly prepared to play every week.

Good, that would be great! We know what TO thinks about Favre and his skills it would be perfect if he and Mariucci were reunited in Green Bay ;D By the way, it really is disappointing that he's not playing out the season. He's clearly got a broken personality but someone should f'ing play him!!!
The Beers playing at Pitt, that will be a good game. I really want to see if their defense holds any water, they already got their asses handed to them by the browns and bengals. The Indy Jax game will be great to, along with the TB Carolina game. Can Carolina win by a touchdown, anyone?

Poor Favre a few too many concussions and injuries past few years His time has passed. As far as I know, he's never suffered a concussion. Even so, you can't beat Father Time. He has been remarkably injury free. He's started every game since Sept. 27, 1992. I think he will base his decision on his evaluation of next year's team. If he thinks they have a shot to go all the way he will want to continue. If not, he'll probably call it quits. This kinda put the team management in a bind. They will have to "build" next year's team through free agent and draft pick signings before they will know the impact of Favre on the salary cap. Favre and the team management will be in a catch-22.

Azz handed to them...come on LV Bengles 24-7 Orton 5 picks Clevland 20-10 bears were leading 10-6 with 3 minutes left in the game late TD then a turnover So they really havent had their Azz handed to them yet...however with this QB a long playoff run is unlikely As far as Farve goes...and this coming from a Bear fan..this best over-all QB there is and even if his skills are eroted, he is still better than 90 percent of the QB's in this league.

I agree with the Bears Fan. I don't think I've ever missed seeing Favre play once through that incredible starting streak.
He is one of the best ever. Tough as nails; everybody has tremendous respect for him. His two strongest physical attributes are his arm and an uncanny ability to read the offensive blocking as the play develops. On that last item I have actually studied his moves by viewing taped replays. What he can do better than anyone I've ever seen is to see what his offensive linemen are doing and how well at the same time he's looking downfield for a receiver. When he sees the blocking breaking down, and he sees this very early, almost instantaniously, he makes an adjustment. I've watched this over and over on replays. He moves in the pocket the very instant you can see that a defender has a good angle on a blocker. It's really uncanny. He probably takes fewer sacks and hits per minute played than anyone.
Next year though he will turn 37. That ability to "read and react" has got to be slowing down.

IF he was a horse he'd be heading for the glue-factory i think its time for you to go to glue factory yeah he is old and worn out some. he has put up some decent numbers this year with a walk on guy from pratice squad at running back,4th and 5th string wr's and 2 new guys on offensiveline. not inculding a defense that couldn't stop 4 old ladies with walking canes from getting into the endzone. yes his int's r high this year, but alot of them are from him throwing ball to hard that his wr's can't hold on to them and bonuce right off there hands/chest and up into the air into the defenders hands. hes still a top 5 qb in this league. i would take him at his old age over all other qb's in the league but 2 or 3. i just hope we lose out and houston wins 2 more games so we can take reggie bush in the draft next year and spend the money that ahman Green wants on some defensive help. well maybe not lose out i want 1 win over them lucky bears who will be 1st round and gone in the playoffs

Samcon is a free agent pick up who wasn't drafted. He played College ball at Liberty U; but wasn't the starter. Liberty is Div I-A; that means scholarships are limited to $1,000 per year off the tuition. He came to the US from Nigeria when he was 9 years old. According to him, his motivation for playing is the hope that he could get on somebody's roster at the minimum wage and save enough money to go to medical school. He's a real-life fairy tale.
