Just wanted to start an NFL thread. Who do you think is the team to beat this year? Super Bowl Predictions?
I have to say that after a thrilling victory over the Giants today, my team the Seattle Seahawks are looking good to go to the Super Bowl against the Colts.
By the way what the hell happened to the St. Louis Rams this year?

Lets's see, what a damning defence da Beers have. Nothing short of impressive when they hold teams to 13 points a game...Cinci and Cleveland games were flukes!
Colts seem unstoppable but they got a few tough games to go, I hope MNF game with Pit is one of them. With Roethlisberger playing Pit can put a game in Indy's loss column, or at least make them win by less than a touchdown....I hope!
If not PIT, San Diego has a good chance to win over the Colts. They have the toughest schedule of any team and when they've taken a loss it hasn't been by more than three or four. LT IS the best player in the game.
Super bowl predictions...it seems reasonable that the Seahawks and Colts will go. How about the playoffs though? NYG, CHI, CAR, Seahawks with Dallas and Falcons making it to. AFC: Colts, Pats, Cinci, Denver with PIT and JAX as wildcards...would really like to see SD make it but they still have too many tough games left.

Dont forget that the Colts play Seattle in a month at Qwest field. That could be a loss for sure, a good game at least.

Did you see that moron Giant kicker miss like 3 times in a row LMAO can you say fired? The fact of the matter is that that kicker never should have got the chance. They called a touchdown for the Giants that CLEARLY was not a touchdown. Shockey landed one foot in the end zone, then got PUMMELED off of his feet and dropped the ball. His other foot never landed. The Hawks scooped up the ball and started running with it, and not only did they call it back, they reviewed the play and upheld the touchdown, the worst call in modern officiating history as far as I am concerned.

Ah yes it does appear the bear defense is the real deal for years to come, however to make it to the superbowl with a rookie QB just aint going to happen. Right now you have to say the seahawks and the colts with indy winning it all...but you know what with the bears at 8-3 and the packers at 2-9 life is good and all else is gravy
I just wish that they would have have pulled the trigger on Warner or Johnson during the preason and Id start asking Mo if he could put me up for the weekend of february 5th.

I'd like to see my team Jacksonville do it! They've been playing rather well and have a very easy end season schedule. So I see them winning out or losing maybe 1 or 2 (Colts possible one). As for the team to beat, Colts just because they are undefeated, but I don't see that lasting. The two teams to watch: AFC: Chargers NFC: Seahawks I see the AFC winning though.

Look again, his toe obovious touched the grass. We don't have many commecials overhere (actually only once in the halftime ), so we got to see the replay a bunch of times. Also I doubt Seattle will make it all the way to the superbowl. Maybe the NFC playoffs against the bears.

I don't see Colts losing to ANY NFC team, including the Seahawks. Jaguars are a great team but even with easy games coming up they don't have Leftwich for at least a month. Hopefully he's back for the playoffs.

I am just saying that with homefield advantage, Seattle should SMOKE Dallas in the playoff game. And Seattle will have homefield.

saturn i would love to see your seahawks in the superbowl then dallas for 2 reasons. 1. you all have our old coach and qb 2. is dallas is the team i hate the most in the nfl(for beating my packers in the 90's in the playoffs alot) but
for 2 reasons i think dallas will be in the superbowl 1. the big tuna is a great coach. 2. dallas has a better defense then the seahawks.
it will be dallas and seattle in the nfc finals playing in seattle but dallas will pull the upset.

Wow, with the way the colts are playing defense I can't see them losing. Don't they have a great coach though? He really turned his team around. And Manning what can I say, arrogant for sure but he sure knows how to recognise a defense and change a call at the line. The bears will not show him any defensive skeems that he will not recognise. The guy just doesnt throw interceptions anymore. Impressive. Side note, I was alwasy a SF49ers fan sucks to be me last few years
