OK, this may be a total newb question, but I have been playing the game for a while, and am still not sure I completely understand all of the aspects this concept right. I want to get this defined and solid in my mind.
Inside a city there is a number of simly faces and a number of frowny faces.
For example, in the simple case
7 vs. 5
My understanding is that this is happiness "capacity". I.E. If I have 7 or more poulation, 7 of them can work tiles (not counting the center city tile). If I only have 3 population then only 3 will be working tiles. But I have capacity to handle 4 more.
7 vs. 7
I am at full capacity. If I gow another person, it will make it 7 vs 8, and therefore the person will just be a lazy bum eating 2 food.
7 vs. 8
Same thing? Not totally sure what this means.
The thing that really confuses me is how poprushing works with all this. I know that when you pop rush you immediately lose 1 actual laborer. But the # next the smily faces doesnt change. The number next to the forwny face changes I believe.
Where I am confused is if does it mean I can grow one back? For example if I am at population 7 and have 7 vs. 7 then I poprush 1 citizen. You still see 7 . So does that mean I can grow him back? Or can I not grow him back because the unhappy number is more than the happy?
I just fear I am reading this information wrong. And I want to make sure I understand exactly what that :-) vs means. And how poprushing effects it. And how having more population than effects it.
Can someone explain this deeper?
