Shift click on a city name bar and then right click where you'd like to rally your units to. Shift click again and right click on the city square to cancel the rally point. Beware, any Workers, Settlers, or military police you build will rally too, so keep your eye on them.

I found it rather strange that this rather useful feature was not documented in the game or reference.

HI Few questions: 1. Whats the difference between gold u get from cottages and gold u build in a city from hammers? The gold u get from cottages is turned into research points, 1commerce=1 research point. So whats the difference between building research and building gold??? U still turn u hammers into at the 1=1 basis.... 2. Buildings like market increase ur gold output. does it mean commerce from cottages? or what kind of gold? 3. Do u always get the same amount of points for a certain tech? Or the first to invent gets more , second less....? Played occ classic 123 turns and for physics i got 12 (!) points for electricity i got 17 points. Have the feel it was usually about 40 or more or am i wrong? What does the point amount depend on ?

The gold-coin in City view is what is called commerse, and can be used for tech-gold or culture (watch the % in left upper ) only un 100% tech u get 1=1 if you grow you wont be able to keep that up

2 no its only about the gold u get from gold% in left upper. so as long as tech is 100%, market wont get you any gold

So in general. You get point for total pop, fixed amount pr. city growt You get points for the land you hold, as i remember nothing for sea. If not mistaking land points are delayed by 20 turns, so no effect from culture last 20 turns. You get points for tech

Thank you Mookie for explaining that in language I as a mere post-graduate teacher of science can understand. Now I too will use rally points!

When playing reflection duel map, do you always start on the left/west to the players perspective? It seems so or did I just get a cluster of left starts?

if you are at 100% science markets and banks still give you a gold bonus. not sure where or how its applied but it does give the bonus. At 100% science i was holding +1 gold. when a priest was joined to the city (in my example here) the gold went to +12. since a priest only adds +5 gold and it went up +11 total i assume that the markets, grocers, etc. are the cause of this. just a thought.

In a stack attack, what is the order of attack. Which units will hit first. I assume the units with the highest percentage of sucess with attack first. With that in mind will the cats hit first? What if they are damaged etc.?
