I think HB_Inland_Sea_V2 map has been used for the 2v2 OCC as well.
Thats what the 41st CCC settings said about event #12.

Ok, I made a mistake cut and pasting different things together and came up with an imaginary map. For CCC 41, as Audrien just pointed out, the same event was on HB Inland Sea - so we'll repeat that this time as the fairest alternative.
I realize that now half of the Events are Inland Sea one way or the other(i.e. HB). Next time we will have more variety in the maps. We will run polls and let the members pick their favorites.
Best, SPM

wow 15 clans maybe even 16 But this might cause a problem for event # 8 . If more than 7 players will be in a game it will be a religion lottery ( 7 religions only). In that case 3 groups and first 2 in finals might be better. But this question will only arise if 15 or 16 clans will play in # 8 I think in the spirit of no religious lottery we can just have 3 first round games 5-5-5 or 5-5-6 drawn randomly by the TD, with the top 2 advancing to the final round which was always envisioned to be 6. More than one clan asked to change to Inland Sea. The issue of maps will be discussed and polled before the next CCC - I am certainly open to changes and variety. SPM Sure, quite agree with you, that's the job of the CCC council. I have no problem with changed setting, but it should be discussed at the adequate place, and the adequate time. chris.

so iv still got a gross disadvantage for the 1v1 then ...
you said that friday's picking is BASED on the last ccc standings. either it should be highest clan picks second, or there should be some other picked mechanism
somebody mentioned picking one civ for the entire tourney, or we could just play it anon when picking civs

More than one clan asked to change to Inland Sea. SPM 2 ? ;D Seriously, maybe my perception is very biased by my opinion, but i saw many many clans prefering tilted axis

Actually, several clans said they prefer inland sea... but all were talking about medieval event (when a clan asked for tbg in this event) ;D
Only EBD posted to ask for inland sea in future event...
Guess it's a bit too late to change back for this CCC.

correct, only ebd posted here regarding his desire for inland sea on future teamer.
it will be hillarious if ebd doesn't even play the future teamer, lol!

can we please have a change to the 1v1 picking order???
its too harsh for me to have to pick first every round just because my clan won the last ccc
i think the host should set anon while BOTH players pick their civs then anon is taken off and the game is launched.. no going back
1v1 on mirror is always close and little things like this decide games before they have even started

We can evaluate changes for the next CCC. We can put Tilted Axis vs. Inland Sea up for a vote.

Its been this way for the last CCCs. My fault ... the higher clan picks first ...

well thats harsh on the clans who finished lower...
i think the best way is to enable anon while both players pick, and then disable it before launch

Could the HTD (Levi) or Head Admin (SPM) please respond to Rokkitlauncher? He has a legitimate question/gripe here.

In all Friday games, where Civs are chosen (not random) the order of selection will be based on the results of CCC XLI (the last CIV4 CCC).
So best ranked clan, last CCC, picks first on friday games, as usual.
