Lol, a true random man:)
1) Not a fan of random. While its true that people can play different play styles with different civs, some civs ARE better suited to some situations. Its just the way they are designed
2) Lol, yeah, clusterf**k, stupid modem. But the action by said player was what one admin described as an A-Hole move. One person should not be able to do that alone, when no one else has a problem.
3) It tells you when a city is taken. However that is not much information. It could have been a quick dagger, or whatever. But saying "So and So has a huge stack invading me" is just wrong.

And I only mentioned who it was after he took 2 cities and it was then so blatantly obvious that a blind man could of told you. The guy screwed up by attacking the lowest scorer who had no chance of passing him and losing to boot, he got nothing out of it and then got killed, that would of happened anyway as any half decent player would of taken the opportunity to kick his arse. If your in the finals of the Ironman and you don't know how to read the game on score then why are you there, and how the hell did you make it anwyay? I can't deny it was a breach of cton, but he kinda lost any real point he made by arguing about it for twenty minutes after that. I apologised to him at length several times. But the truth is as soon as he attacked me he signed his death warrant anyway so I can't say I'm that bothered, if It's a big breach and you want to box me for a few weeks or something then so be it. It's a fair cop governor.
I must admit though I am getting tired of people abusing old rules suited to c3c, can we update the rules, cton rule can stay but some of the others are being abused by players because the game is so different from C3c.

I would ask all captains to discuss to their clan members the possibility of becoming more involved by sighing up as a tournament director. It woudl help enrich the league to have more TD's. Also some of you may complain that yrou "voice" is not being heard when it come to bringing changes in rules, events and procedure, well my reply to this is the more you are involved with the league the more likely you are to being heard. The TD's and Admins often correspond, we know each other, we respect each other, we listen to each others opinions. Mature TD's can contribute a lot to the healthy functionning of our league. So I urge you folks to get involved as it will better the experience for all of us. Sincerely GCAvogadro ps-go to www.myleague.comLeft side tourney directors link, click it and on next screen click TD application at the top.
