Humm, it's a bit frequent. Maybe one NC every three month should be enough?

The frequency is the same as the CCC. We placed each NC half way between each CCC.

I'm willing to change it, but will wait until after we run the first 2 and see how everyone feels about it then.

big tournaments add some spice to civ4 MP. I also think that every clan that participates in both the CCC and The nations Cup will improve their overall game and teamwork. In other words I like a big tournament every three weeks.

Why do we have to mirror the CCC? Why can't the Nation's Cup be the ultimate prize to gaze at in a given year (or half year)? We could be talking about a season, playoffs and the 2007 Nation's Cup. I think the Cup should be awarded to the team that earns it through the season or year, or whatever it works out to be. Each team can compete on a weekend basis, but check my comment in the suggestions. We could schedule it to best fit each country (each country is a diff. time zone). Why should someone from Australia be forced an all-nighter while the American will get to play in daylight?

As I suggested in the other thread, I think NC should be approximately 4 or so times a year. I think any more than that is overkill, and people will be so overwhelmed with big tourneys that they will just skip some, leading to a lot less participation.

i like the 4 times a year idea i was actually thinking of that on Friday when i saw the turnout. was even thinking that it should happen at the beging of the quarter. finical quarters not sure if they run into ccc weekends. or even better yet line them up the equinox and the solstice . just a couple of goofy ideas ive tossed about in my mind

Due to a lack of free time to properly plan the NC at this time, I have decided to cancel the next NC and move them to between every other CCC instead.
Sorry for the late notice, but I felt this was better then running a near copy of the last one and not have put in many changes that are really needed.
Sorry,
DTA

Hi there,
I was wondering if we still plan on playing this NC last week-end of Aug ?
I'm suggesting to postpone it to sept (that could be the following week) as I'm sure lots of people won't be there, for the last couple of weeks of holidays. Besides, We have yet to see a schedule coming out, and it would be only one Week after the CCC. I doubt there is many people wanting to play the whole summer... I know I won't, nor would DD, so that won't help TBC to fulfil the numerous events.
Anyway, let us know, and don't forget to schedule ; - Grand melee - UUmadness - An event with everyones respective civ Then I would sit and enjoy the whole WE

hmmm seems I keep moving this thing, but due to the delay in the CCC we will be moving this back one more time to Sept 7 - Sept 9
